True. Some people are really good at hiding their real intentions. I have been
pretty lucky so far with that, but I have seen it happen to others.
I guess you never REALLY know if you can really trust someone, but despite what
I said earlier about masks, at some point you have to let someone in.

The reasoning behind a member becoming mute is usually because they spammed
either the forums or the gallery with simple comments. Not to say that this is
the only reasoning behind a muting. They could have also been a constant flamer
of other members. Muting basically strips a member of their ability to post.
Which is why they are called mute. To my knowledge they still can view galelry
items. They just can't say anything other then in PM.
