and the public have to put up with it (unless, of course, you don't use the phone as a means of contact. =.=).
Your engineering course sounds awesome! Glad you had fun there. Living like a uni student...woo sounds so cool. Actually I

think the "super greasy full English breakfast" sounds quite delectable because when you put it like that, I almost instantly

think of the fatty sausages and bacon. Haha, but cereal's always good (healthier at least).
Lets see, you had to make a wall...out of straw bales...which then had to be pulled by a truck and has to stay upright. What

a challenge that must have been! Nevertheless, sounds like a super fun project! Congrats for winning! Wow, I had no idea that

some buildings are made of straw in the three continents you mentioned. But the straw must have been mixed with other

materials right? Otherwise can't be very strong can it? When I heard "straw" I immediately thought of straw huts...lolz. ^^;;

Yeah, a gap year before uni sounds good. Many of my friend's older siblings go off to Europe for overseas experiences before

starting uni so I think it's quite unfortunate that you have to stay in England for the Home status. Hm, so does that mean

you've only lived in England for a year? (That's shorter than the time I spent in Liverpool!)
Wow! You are SO lucky! You've been to everywhere in Europe! All the places I wanted to visit you've been. Switzerland sounds

fantastic! I love anywhere with snow. So you went skiing there? Hm, I'm sure Venice would have been a much nicer place to

visit if it wasn't flooded at the time. You sound like you had some great fun on your vacation! One day I have go on a

shopping trip to Hong Kong. I've probably already been there (as a baby maybe) since it's so close to my birthplace. Most

of all, I want to visit the newly opened Disneyland there! Yep, you're so right, Hong Kong food (or rather Chinese food in

I was just reading the list you put up of all the anime series you've seen. Impressive list! No doubt, you're a very

experienced anime watcher. Have you seen any of the Ghibli films? (Creators of Spirited Away.) I just finished watching

"Princess Mononoke" which turned out to be a fantastic movie! I recommend it to you! (Haha, feels like I'm doing

I remember the weather in England! Summer is unbearably hot (no wonder you don't like Summer) while Winter is freezing cold.

Ah good idea, let's swap seasons! You can have the rain storms mixed with the freezing-cold wind from the south while I take

your super boiling summer days ok?
Ah I see, going for the academically famous school eh? What's the school name? I might know it. Haha, I'm sure you look very

swish in a suit! For my uniform, we wear blue checked skirts in summer, grey skirts in winter. Boys wear grey shorts all

year round (until they reach 5th form when trousers are permitted. This applies to girls also.) Blue polo or white shirts and

a jersey or jumper. (In case you don't know the difference between jersey and jumper which I didn't, a jersey is has a long

V-neck and are knitted with wool materials whereas jumpers are made with cottony fabrics thus are thicker. Man I must be a

dedicated fashon student to know all this! ^^;;) At my school, people wearing suits are rarely seen so put a boy in a suit

and all the heads of the girls population will be turned. I guess you could say that's a positive aspect of going to a

co-ed school? LOL!
I don't know about strict age limits in NZ. As a matter of fact, it's getting less strict as the government are taking more

and more liberties. (They've been lowering the drinking and driving age profoundly in my opinion.) But I still think the

Ring's rated R16 here. Oh really? Based on a japanese horror film? Like "The Grudge"? So jap horror films must be pretty

popular. Can't wait to see the Ring!
Ah, no, unfortunately it's not like that. The exams I take this year are worth credits which will be carried on to the next

year so I will still have to take exams next year. Very unfortunate indeed. I can finish High school as soon as I've

turned 15! (That the legal age to be able to drop out of school.) But to be able to go on to uni, I must complete the 6th

form. Many people don't stay for the 7th form in order to get a year's head start in uni but I'm staying till the very end!

Ah thank you! The Shakespeare Play went extremely well! Despite the fact that I had a cold and had to do the narration with a

blocked nose, it was tremendously fun! ^_^
Lol, exam pieces are always tiring to play so an orchestra performance won't be that bad. But the thing that really gets to

me is that when playing in an orchestra, you must have full attention and follow the rhythm and music because everyone has

different parts to play.
What annoying ISP you have. I hope you got the problem sorted already! My ISP isn't very reliable either but what the heck,

can't be bothered changing services. ^_^;;

Where to start, where to start...
It's been such a long time. And I bow down in apology for record lateness. (This is turning into a tradition for us )
Ahh so you must have had all your exams by now. I hope you passed every one of them with flying...no...soaring colours!
I've got more exams just after the christmas holidays and I really should be studying right now. But, I'm in Dubai on

vacation so I'm having fun going out with old friends and enjoying the wonderful Dubai winter weather instead ^^
The importance of my exams should hit me when I return to England like a tsunami on a fly.
Well, for me it wasn't too hard because I was great at maths science and absolutely appauling at english and the arts (except

maybe music performance).
So of course I went all science side subjects, although I would've liked to do economics too.
Sounds to me like a good wide ranged choice of subjects. Having some science and some arts will provide for a variety of

future careers.
It seems someone powerful complained and minitokyo got unblocked in Dubai since I'm here using it right now ^_^ Yay for

powerful complainers! Lol innocent minds eh?
Yes monopolies are bad bad bad. That's one thing I learnt in economics
Big english breakfasts are great every now and then but those particular ones were ultra uber greasy. They just took it way

too far.
About the straw bale houses. I'm not too sure but I think they put plaster up the sides to strengthen the bales and hide and

protect the straw from the elements. It gives great insulation apparently.
Hehe same here. When we were first given the project I was like, "what? who lives in straw huts nowadays?"
All my applications to Uni are in and a letter from Oxford should have arrived at my doorstep in the UK but no one's there to

open it I'm dying with anticipation about whether I got accepted or not

I've noticed that too..how time flies so quickly when you're in high school but it's quite different in primary school. I prefer high school over primary mainly because you learn so much more and the lessons are actually worth putting into my brain (XD) but I guess I didn't like primary because back then my family had to move around a lot so I kept changing schools which eventually became really annoying! Whao! You're possibly the first person I've ever met (except maybe my dad) who enjoys physics! It's great to hear! Physics is logical and very useful, I'd admit that but not when my teacher's teaching it unfortunately. Then maybe I would actually start liking the subject!
I find that time goes by really fast during exams! I can almost never finish in time...maybe I'm a slow writer...

So you've been stopping the Tsubasa chronicle downloading due to lack of disk space...I guess that's alright because the anime's no where as good as the manga! I'm facing the same problem as you! I want to watch so many different anime series but comp's got no space and my d/l speed is always very slow. T.T Right now, I'm downloading Prince of Tennis (so addicting, this anime. ), tsubasa and the new ah my goddess series! Hopefully it will finish downloading in the next millenium so I can watch it. ^^;;

Hm, copying with DVD's much better than Cd isn't it? but DVD-Rs are much more expensive! But I guess it's the same compares to CDRs because DVDRs can hold more.
