really? what city do you live in? as if this is true then it would be a nice
thing to put in my portfolio as i apply for jobs. just the city would help...
and I have your original post so I'm sure I could track it down....unless you
know more specifically. city paper? date? it would help alot.
cheers.
I've ditched the paper a long time ago, but the name of the paper's "The
Philippine Star".
Quote by smilebiti'm working only with
outline here and in little detail. think perspectively. one end is closer than
the other end. the farther end, one cannot see the entire length of it, and as
such the bow appears short. thank you for your comment.
cheers.
But with perspectives, the closer end would be wider than the farther end, and
in the vector there's not much of a difference, which makes the staff look
short. It's a good vector, just the staff looks odd to me.
Quote by smilebitwell, probably one of
my favorites that you have done. i enjoy very much the line are quality of this
image and the absence of color. i am incredibly happy with this one. however,
the arms are a bit weird. i am not sure the gesture that is happening here. the
posture. it appears as thought one arm is longer than the other, and i have a
feeling that if i were there, she would have her right shoulder towards me and
her left away. meaning, the arm that is not near her face would be going away
from me, and foreshorten off in perspective. none the less...i do enjoy this. a
fav.
Hello Smilebit,
thank you very much for the fav and the comment!
You are right about the arms and gesture. One arm is stronger... the problem
was, I lost my Illustrator file and was unable to change anything on the
character.
The gesture of the arms was meant to be weird though, so I wouldn't have changed
it, even if I had the file. I wanted to make her resemble a little to a
flower...
*lol* Well thanks for you comment! It's helpful... not just "Yeah
weird"... I do get that "weird" comment a lot at the moment.
So thanks! I'm glad you still like it even though it has some flaws.
How are things going for you? I'm still very busy with university and that won't
change for the next months. But then soon I should be finished... Yeah...
definitely looking forward to it.
Well take care! And I'm looking forward to your next submissions!
Quote by smilebitthanks for the fav and
the kind words. maybe later i'll post the other paintings. cheers.

wait....are you completely done with university or just this
years?
Hello smilebit,
thanks for your comment. I missed your works here at MT so I was happy when I
saw that there was a new submission from you. I hope you'll post the other
paintings.
About my university. I got all the lessons done that I needed... I just need to
finish two more smaller works and then my loooooong diploma work and the two
exams and that's it. I must get cracking though, I am best in procastinating.
Somehow now that it's almost over I don't wanna leave university anymore. I'll
miss it. *lol* But yeah I am looking forward to finally leaving this students'
hostel and moving into a nice place with a proper bathroom and kitchen. Right
now I have such an old bathroom and only a shower no bathtub and
I'd actually have to cook in the kitchen of the floor. But it's so messy
there... and not even an oven... so I have a small boilerplate in my room... but
it kind of starts to annoy me. *lol* So yeah I wanna start my post uni life!
And how are things going for you? I'd be happy if you wanna share some news with
me.
Quote by smilebitwell...i appreciate the
comment and the honesty. it would be nice if you know the exact errors in the
chinese if you could tell me which ones, like third from the top or something.
if not thanks anyhows. of course....traditional art really isn't about how many
colours are used and a large amount of painters have used more colours than i
have. i just used them flately. cheers and thanks for the comment.
Yes I can tell you. Since you obviously wrote it from right to left and from top
to bottom in the traditional Chinese format, I'd talk about the columns from
right to left as well, meaning the right-most column would be the first column
etc... The last word on the first column is actually supposed to be 2 words. You
joined them. The word "1" (3rd word) from the 2nd column shouldn't be
written top down like that. The Chinese character "1" is a line from
left to right, not top to bottom. I don't recognize the first word on the third
column, but that may be just me. The last word on the third column is, again, 2
words joined together. And so is the last word on the fourth column. Hope it
helps. Then again, with a work of art like this, we needn't really concern
ourselves with what is absolutely right if it makes aesthetic sense...
Quote by smilebitsorry it has taken so
long to respond and say thanks for the kind comment. I am glad you enjoyed the
colors i used as a judge wasn't so appreciative. As always your comments are
appreciated fully. Cheers....and thanks for putting on the contest
again.
Also, i'd like to apologize for the shoddiness of my extremely late doujinshi. I
had to redo the whole thing real quick so i could submit it because my original
idea was taken too long to draw. Oh well eh?

i meant to type "taking" and not "taken." oh well. I'd like
to thank you for your kindness on highlighting my war entry. of all the things
that could show appreciation on this site a highlight seems to show the most.
and again i'd like to say thanks. Cheerios eh? good they
are.
Hehe, you're welcome... you deserved the highlight for the wall ^^ and I thought
the doujin submission was nice, it was definitely eye-poppingly different, but
just in terms for the contest the judges didn't see the connection to the theme,
but otherwise I thought it looked fine~ And well, a little under half the walls
judges commented, so yeashh... ^^ gotta take that into account as well, you
can't ever please everyone anyways xP
how are you doing? Thank you very much for the comment. It is always helpful to
read your comment and I like your honesty!
Unfortunately I must get my computer fixed next week. So this will take some
time. I enjoyed a lot to make something completely on my own. And I do not know
at the moment whether I want to go back to making normal wallpapers. Well,
I hope to see you around.
hello ....well first of all you maybe will think that the next thing I'm gonna
ask will sound kind of odd...but the thing is that in one of your submissions
(exactly this one aesthetic) you said
something like "this is the final of one of my classes" jaja and
well...I got really interested in find out what were you studying (or are
studying) ...and that's it....so....it will be nice if you grant me that answer.
jaja thanks.

Quote by smilebiti recognize that
avatar. Not sure how to spell it, but some genieveve looking. anyhow...to answer
your question that wasn't at all odd.
I am studying art. Specifically digital art but I'm moving all over the spectrum
to sculpture to painting to graphic design to illustration. Just art. I've
recently decided to attempt to write a screenplay for a musical that i would
absolutely love if it came together and i could actually have it show. But yeah.
Why might i ask are you interested?
Check out designiskinky.com try and find the calender contest and enter.
cheers.
I forgot to ask, what about the aesthetic piece prompted such a
question?
you're sure a really active person...and well I got interested cuz ...you'll
see...I'm about to finish high school and the thing is that almost my whole life
I've been having the idea of study something related to art...and in the past 4
years that idea transformed everything into graphic design...but in the end I
realized that I actually didn't knew what was all that about .....so when I saw
what you said (when I SAW what you SAID ...jaja) or what you did (the wall) I
mean if you do that stuff ...and you present them as exams...then and just then
the idea that an exam is or have to be the worst thing is completely
wrong....something like that kind of activities/distractions are maybe what I
want.
oh yeah....great web there...great artists, have to say that it help out to.
and the girl of the avatar is emmeline....more known as The little girl who was
forgotten by absolutely everyone (even the postman)
Hey there! NP for the favs! You very well deserve merit for those unique walls
of yours. Speaking of which, I was wondering if I can add you to my watchlist?
If it would be okay, I would love to keep track of the submissions you enter
here at MT. I really admire your work, and greatly appreciate the amount of
effort you put into them. Well, if its alright just let me know k? Don't want to
add you right away without your say, ya know lol. Well anyways, thanks and guess

beyond anything you might know of. thanks, and major props to
