Quote by Kiriounice userpage! ^^ Oh btw, what's your sig of?

Hi there Kirou!
Thanks for stopping by and complimenting my (attempt at a) userpage!

My signature pic is a cut from a Warcraft 3 wallpaper (based on the Night Elf box-set - you can view all the official wallpapers here if you are interested). The quote is just something silly I made up (based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels).

Anyway, thanks for dropping by and I hope to see some more of you!

Take care!

Quote by KiriouI thought so ^^ lol kind of makes me want to play warcraft right now. Well i'm not a night elf in the game, i'm a troll warrior level 21. How about you?

Er... I'm talking about Warcraft 3. I haven't had the chance to play World of Warcraft yet. Since its online and since I have a slow connection I wouldn't be able to play it T_T I am a big fan of anything Blizzard and especially anything Warcraft though.

[the highest level a hero can get in W3 is level 10, human, orc, undead or nightelf. T_T - got higher levels in DiabloII though ^_^ - you played it?]

Haha i know what you mean now ^_^' I've only played WoW though. And no, i haven't played DiabloII, is it good?

Quote by joemighty16Hi! Nice to see you again!

Quote by KiriouDiablo II was quite fun! One of the classic Role Playing games (RPGs). You can spend the best part of the day playing. There are almost no logical stops where you finish a level and can stop whothout losing anything. Everytime you restart, you're back at the begining with all the enemies respawned in droves (you do have portals so that you can jump to where you have been before).

Personnaly I prefer the settlement building strategy games, but I have all the time in the world for a good RPG game!

So what beside WoW is your current fav's? I'm currently juggling between Dawn of War (Winter Asault) and Dungeon Siege II.

Ooh that does sound interesting ^_^ I have to play it sometime. My other favorites are Fable, Star Ocean, and Tales of Symphonia.

I come back! Hope that I didn't offend you because I showed my so-called "Muteness": I've completely forgotten Minitokyo and communicate with anyone since my two horrendous weeks of renovation, which one followed by a physics mini-stage during a week, and so on. Moreover , I was so absorbed into my books , then my social aspect quite disappeared. Moreover, never I will forget what I promised...uh...a long long bit of time ago and you know what I mean. Anyway, pass visit me on my page and drop a word concerning what happened recently. I wish to refresh this rusted mind of mine. ^_^

Regards,
T.X.

P.S.
A trait you ought to aknowledge about my personality is my latent proclivity to misanthropy, thus, often, I hurriedly need to remain in solitude once in a while. That's why my words and expressions sometimes seem a wee acrid, despicable or mischievous. Be content, you're the first I called after these events.
Hope and hope you remember who I am.

Quote by joemighty16Hey! Thabnks for writing in my thread Lucifer: What do you believe in now?

I must admit though that I weren't sure wether you were attacking me or adding support to my claim that Lucifer (amongst other denizens of hell) were somewhat fabricated to their current functions not originally intended.

I replied on your post (check out the link above to see full version). I must add however that I'm impressed with your knowledge on this topic (you seem to validate my claim with the information, while at the same time you write somewhat aggresively).

But whatever your stance I appreciate your amount of participation on this topic! :D

Yea, well, I've studied little bits in that area, although not especially extensive on the subject of Lucifer. But that topic comes up among others in the field I do enjoy studying, theology, which in fact is my major right now (although I don't start till this fall, so that I'm not misleading on how extensive my education in that area).

As for wheither i was attacking or supporting, I think you're confusion was justified. With many topics like this I often try to take somewhat of an opposition just to keep whoever is presenting thinking, and to be sure they know what they are talking about. But really, I was simply trying to get all sides out and help everyone on a path to understanding and figuring out better where the truth lies, wherever that may be, and since I don't personally know everything on the subject, I wasn't going to go against or for anything in particular. You seemed like you knew a good enough bit about it, and thats actually rare it seems alot, so to some extent I was supporting you, I had heard before some things that fit with what you were saying so it made sense. This is rare it seems since i find often enough (in that forum and otherwise) that people jump into discussions like that without really knowing what their talking about and it annoys me. Your thread was actually a rather refreshing and interesting topic though, it wasn't very cliche and you put your ideas on a good foundation. I didn't neccesarily agree with everything, and I think I indicated that, but you at least were going about the subject well and I could be wrong myself. I havn't read your reply yet but i'll go do that. Sorry if this reply is a ramble and is a bit long, it would seem i do that alot, but this time its actually just because i'm tired, just back from various things, and filled with caffeine right now.

Quote by joemighty16Hi there DarkIngram!

Thanks for giving such a good comment on my thread "Lucifer: What do you believe now?"

Well written and factual - you completely bypassed the "popular mythology" and went straight for the facts - thanks! We need people such as yourself around here.

Are you by nature academically inclined (in at least esoteric topics) or have you researched this out of your faith?

You're welcome! :D I just like to share my beliefs... :D even though some christian denominations here in MT are always disagree with me... ^_^'

Btw, it's my research.. :D I've read that thread last-last week & caught my attention so I've decided to study about that & replied in your thread... :D

Hey! you commented on one of my walls. "Wild Wet West" by me and shirow masamune. You said the link didn't work. You were right. I messed up the url but, it's fixed now. Here. I'll post it here. http://shirow.shim.net. There you can find many scans of Shirow's poster booklet collection. The scans run from 3000 x 3000 px each though. So if you have a slow computer it might take a while for them to load. And thanks for the comment.

Quote by joemighty16Now thats what I call an intimate love-bite! Thats gonna leave a mark!

Great looking wall, if a bit icky, but still a cool background! Nice one!

You said that about the HELLCAT #1 wall I made. I was actually a simple design. I think I just made it sound more difficult than it was. But yeah. A bit wierd kind of 'intimacy'. If you visited that link I posted for ya then you'll most likely see LOTS of that stuff. Shirow got wierd for a while there but, his art is still awsome.

I'm deeply sorry if I had to be mute since a long time. Once again, I'll be in obligation to remain in taciturnity because many many events occured to me these two last weeks and will last a little bit yet. For instance, right now, my house is completely disordered due to many renovations and I'm going haywire! I'm truly exhausted and this is going to return against me in recrudescence. Shit, sometimes I abhor my life.
In due course , I'll return to my compedium and the rest.......

Thanks ..

Uh, little question :
What's your theory about Etruscan civilization's origin? I heard through an old magazine that they came from Lydia because there was a big starvation. Thus the half population immigrated toward Italian boot.
Anyway, thanks.

I heard you don't know how to pronounce in the correct manner the japanese " R" ... sigh ... it's a shame that english speaker has more difficulties than a francophone. :) Of course , our language pronunciation drastically resembles to Japanese one, barring obviously their common accent. Anyway, their R is far far away from the english R. Instead , it sounds like a mix of L and D, supposed not to sound as the guttural french R, generally unknown to english people( I think). There a fluctuation in this mixed R.

Hope I didn't make mistake because phonetic is far far away from me! ~_~

Salutation, salut, ave, hello ( another ways to say Bonjour)

Little question: How do you get your Animes?
Through torrents, television or perhaps Youtube?
Does South Africa have these Anime on their channel or what? For my case, the best Animes don't exist in Canada, sigh..! There are so few...

A la prochaine......( See ya around)

I'll get Animeyume!
Pardon to be so emotive but I got forthwith viruses on this site and...... ~_~ I got once again viruses. Grrrrr... such a fool I am.
He He You seem to consider her cute, so browse the name White Clarity on Minitokyo.

I'm terribly sorry to postpone my compendium,
but recently my mind is overwhelmed.

P.S. Don't rely on "last Online" notification on the left side of Minitokyto Page. Though I use Minitokyo daily, the time passed on it lasts in average not even 8 min.

Hope you understand what I meant.

Moreover, my computer is a mere Win. 98.
You know , I'm not as rich as the average class in country. Besides , I belong to the poorest classes( as regards my country). Anyway, my only riches are my culture....sigh.. ~_~ ~_~
Useless in a civilization based on profit motive, isn't it?

Btw, I omitted to mention what's White Clarity.
I found out and henceforth I wished to forget.
I had some suspicions , now it's confirmed.

Thanks for the comment on my wall + the scan comment :D

He he, forgive to be mute this former period but so many events occured to me, so ,anyway, my reply about your pretty afrikaans initiation will be more formal likely for tomorrow.
Nonetheless , I ought to REQUEST a comment from you about a recent doujinshi drawn by me y-clept " Suigin Tou is running amuck" .
Albeit you don't seem a true connoisseur about doujinshi, I just need a CONSTRUCTIVE comment.

Thank you very much for this comment pretty useful and this, rather than the common futile one that Mr. or Mrs. Incognito might spill in a lazy manner.
Although I erstwhile won two prizes , I've completely ceased my activities in drawings since 6 years( probably caused by the advent of my new hobbit: sciences and the rest). I have a innate talent but , with no practice , my progressions remain still.
Besides , I was sure that this face sounds wrong somewhere , even though you didn't see the last version , that is worse. If I could get rid of my pride and simply copy an existing pic but no , I must to create an unique one...T_T .You know, I drew so few time in my life I'm capable to count altogther on my fingers.
By the way , you could pass over my former drawing " The pulchritude of Lucy's Ire" , which one represent a full failure given the fact I don't possess the magic of Photoshop.

I've read your post on Religon: Impact on History, Good or Bad? And I thank you for your objective and informed post on the subject. Christians like me and Atheists often view each other as biased and bigoted, and are often closed-minded to each other's views.

"The bigotry of the nonbeliever is for me nearly as funny as the bigotry of the believer." - Albert Einstein

If we kept on arguing there will probably be no end.

Quote by mountainummmm after careful consideration, I just realised that this is quite an unfair argument. Within the 4000 years of history that has been recorded, every nation in every geographic location has had a religion. you could blame the Greeks for attacking the Persian because they want to show whos God was more powerful if you wanted. It really hard to give a comparison on "what life would be like without religion" and "what life would be like with religion" because throughout history, life has never been lived without religion. You may say that there are atheists around, however, atheism is a recent concept and its impact on the world is of very little significance (atheism has the highest prevalence in the US, even so it is still a small proportion of the society, the political and the judges etc. high ranking jobs are I believe mainly dominated by "religious people")

Your point was already brought up by my fellow Christian, however it takes an neutral outsider like you to end debates. I hope to see more people like you on the forums. Take care.

Hello there, joemighty16! ^-^ How are ya? To answer your question, yes, I am an Asian living in California...which isn't too amazing XD And yes...I am specifically Chinese, hence my parents own Chinese restaurants and their dishes really reflect styles of Chinese food. Where I live, it's a mixture of different people of different origins, and I truly noticed it after I spent a month in China and then flew back to the US XD That means, of course, we have tons of different kinds of restaurants and shops. But still...I'd go for free tuition rather than Chinese food any day! XD Well, I hope you have a nice summer!

Quote by joemighty16Don't worry, I have enough trouble with like-minded people where I live. The best part is to have noobs trying to impress you with their vast (note the sarcasm) knowledge on anime and anything Japanese. Suddenly they're speaking Japanese and dropping characters names left and right. And you can't talk along because you've watched it ages ago.

Anyway, yes, I share your frustration. I myself am very interested in thier culture and history and when people starts sterotyping I really want to do something uncivilized with them with my chopsticks....

chopsticks. nice. haha. i really can't stand the butchery the Japanese language goes through at the hands of noobs. i'm glad you share my pain but i guess people like them will always exist.
thanks for the post. it gave me a few chuckles. :D

Sigh , I'm pretty sure you refused my wish..... I really don't know why everyone decline.
At least, If you are capable to answer to me this question hereunder:
How was it possible to re-build the frankish language ex nihilo?

merged: 06-04-2006 ~ 05:14am
First , I asked you to join me as a FRIEND given the the fact we've have a common interest about ancient time history and linguistic. I said it's rare to find persons sharing passions akin to me.
Mauger the fact I dedicated my life to sciences
( chiefly , physics or more precisely quantum physics) , another big part of my time is taken on behalf of history and linguistic. ( I 've learnt latin during 2 years too but now I pore out my french dictionary so as to find frankish words and certes that upgrades my lexicon at the same time ^_^)
Of course , your knowledge must be better than mine in history and linguistic in consideration I'm still young( 18 years old, that is 5 years under your age) and don't get university yet.
Yeah , I'm a french speaker, that's not a problem , I write and speak very well in English . ( sometimes , my english is weird because I am trying to get a literary prose and I use old english terms . I aware that to you considering that frustrated highly the moderator Somebodyelse)
Globally , by knitting a friendship between us , that will encourage a share of knowledge.

BTW, I won't bother you with quantum physics or alike. I know this don't pertain to your specialty.
I repeat , become my friend Eh Eh !

Hum , yeah , answer.com.
You probably know that answer.com takes most of the time information from Wikipedia. Ergo , Wikipedia was the trigger of my loving for Japanimation( I searched what was "kawaii" and I found a strange image of Elfen Lied on the same page, thence I began my voyage through Anime). Furthermore, if you wish to see my old provocative theory about kawaii ( I didn't wish that it becomes provocative) , see my thread closed by Somebodyelse.

2) Is that correct to put a thread about Roman empire? I wished to put one speaking of the cause of Fall of Rome, nonetheless , this is not a contemporary subject. That's annoying!

3) Do you know Frankish language?
If so , this language is similar to Germanic and Old English languages. The difference from Anglo-Saxon is Frankish documents doesn't exist, so the language was re-built by phonetic laws ( unfortunately , I don't know what are these laws they're talking about ).
At least , I was making by pleasure a list of frankish terms from my french dictionary.
If you wish I list them to you with a little definition ( progressively of course) , beckon me. Sure , I'll translate the relative french word if it's possible.
Also , I've made a little list of Anglo-Saxon terms (I was a wee purist about English term).
I repeat , beckon me.

See you.
