I wanted to make my desktop wallpaper too but I have a laptop and it's widescreen so the wallpaper can't fit Whenever I want to make something into wallpaper, I had to adjust the size (it sucks big time)
Oh yeah, I see your account on AnimePaper. You're popular there too I'm not very active there as MT. I go there to get wallpapers because they won't cost any credits, only scans do.
About the Geocities thingy, I don't know how to solve it (I'm sorry!) I don't have a Geocities website so I don't really know what your problem is. I just use it to upload files that I need for my groups

- My 1st think about this wallie is the sky (just in thumb), I can see totally a brush here ^_^ and it make the wallie abit off... but still very wonderful when I full view ^_^
- My 2nd think is that the size of this wallie is 1.5 mb OoO~! It will take me forever to download this one +___+ But still I wanna download it ^_^

Will your half right and the other wrong, I dont rely on brshes i usually make the sky myself or se some textures to boost it up, and I do realize that real skys are ur style and others too, but when I think about a real sky for this wall.....it doesnt really work out to well O_O
