When i went to tokyo with my college for a 2 week course, we met him, and he showed us his works and stuff.
he was such a cool guy. i really liked him. He even gave one of my professors an original piece (lucky bastard) we even got to see his soon-to-be-published works. which were gorgeous.
I have some pictures of me and my class and my professors hanging out with him and some of his originals.
I really like his works too, and hopefully i can make a wall with one of his scans and do him some justice. i just hafta decide what and when

you are so lucky to have met him, lady kalicodreamz. that must have been an awesome class trip. actually from the art-book he is my favourite artist. i actually have 3 additional scans to post, once i finish the wall i am working on. Mafuyu-san has a really interesting art style- mixing fashion with cyberpunk.. i can't wait to see your wall or wallpapers. ^^

actually it was black and white because the rules required it lol
the rules basically said...wall range murata or yoshitoshi abe in black in white with an urban theme.
so, thats why it's black and white :3
and after i actually made the wall, i brought it into Photoshop, and used the eyecandy plug-in to just...set it on fire lol.
i don't think anyone can quite comprehend just how much i hate that wall

tokyo jupiter, is basically a dome over tokyo that looks just like jupiter, so it DOES look like a planet, but it isn't one. and the whole series is based around sound, music and "the tuning of the world" so they actually do fit if you've seen the series. i had em on either side because i wanted them to seem divided like in the series.
now, go watch rahXephon! it's so good ;-;
