I was coming over to ask about what happened to the Amano scans and saw. =_=
Damn, should've grabbed them yesterday! I was eyeing the "A"
"R" and "Untitled" ones...
Could you lemme know if you'll upload them somewhere else?
thank you very much for your compliment on my new userpage, avatar/sig. Yes, I
vectored the original artwork. I feel in love with that abstract Amano art. And
as I already said it was really simply to vector... so here it is, my simplistic
userpage. Anyways I "still" feel comfortable with it... Were you
serious about me making you an Amano userpage? Oh well... that would be an honor
to make a userpage for you. I just would spend a lot more time on yours than on
mine... after all you are Lord Dream...
Hm... I see... problem of updating. I would love to have a website too. And I
can't have one because I simply don't know how to do it. My friend is going to
help me but we just both were busy with our presentations and other lessons. So
it is hard to find time for these things. So unfortunately I cannot give you any
tipps on how one updates websites. My knowlegde about it is zero...
I'll be looking forward to see your projects once they are finished. And a new
Galaxy Express wall... We have to fill the gap and make more Galaxy Express
walls.
Unfortunately I had no time yesterday to look at your uploads. And now I saw
that I am already too late again. They got ALL deleted...? I don't understand
what's going on, on MT... they seem to be on a deleting wave. I was
actually looking forward to your new uploads.
Edit: Hmm... I just read the comment of Marissa. I still don't understand the
problem. But I hope there will be a chance to see these "gorgeous"
scans...
The last days were so exhausting for me because of all the work for university.
Last night I had to stay up till 3.30am which was really difficult because I had
been working non stop. However my presentation went well, so thanks for wishing
me luck.
I'll be on the lookout for your next submissions. Hope to see new artwork soon!

lose something in the vectorization, but that the Poem collection is perfect for
vectoring made it interesting to me. & yes, the "printbook" is
that giant tome you refer to.

thank you very much for the little gift. At the moment I am mostly at home,
trying to bring my thoughts about the female characters in one of Goethes novels
to paper and at the same time I am supposed to work myself into the subject of
Strategic management... which doesn't interest me at all. So I am not really
seeing many people until uni starts again next week. Your scans brighten up my
day a little with beautiful eye candy. Thanks a
lot!
Oh and "Prayer for the Dead" seems to have changed. Didn't you tell me
last time that this rather weird "wave" can be found your original
artbook as well? I already started a wallpaper using this scan... but I couldn't
get comfortable with this wave so I tried to vector it... what I also didn't
like... it simply destroys the beautiful shading of the colors. So I am happy to
find the scan in excellent quality now.
And you uploaded even more Galaxy Express scans... Leiji Matsumoto draws women
in such a special and fascinating way. The drawing style looks rather simple
compared to most of Amano's female characters. But in his special style he still
manages to give them various kinds of attributes. And what is most special, he
somehow combines them with the background, the environment etc. Oh well... you
know that. I am just writing that much... to get a little break of my work...
Oh Amano avatars? It's actually embarassing... I kept talking for so long now about
how I need a new userpage design and new avatar... and it is still the same. I
guess the reason is because I lack time... and in my little time that I have
left to spend with Illustrator or Photoshop I much rather make new wallpapers.
However I would really love to find a more fascinating avatar and I'm happy
about any help I can get!
Well I hope to read you again soon. And hopefully you won't be upset about my

Last night I quickly decided to break the laziness and make a new
userpage+avatar+sig. I chose one of the Amano scans that you just recently
submitted. I felt very fascinated by this scan when I saw it in your gallery...
but it's also really easy to vector and I somehow can "see myself" in
it. Even though that might sound weird now, considering these shapes. Well at
least I have a new avatar now... I will see how long I'll be feeling happy with
it.

mature content - I had to part with a few older submissions as well as they were
deemed to be not appropriate for minors. I absolutely detest editing somebody
else's art, especially scans, so I will not re-submit them.
About Beksinski - to tell you the truth I am not very fond of his art. He was a
great artist, but in the last few years in my opinion the booze has affected his
work in a very negative way. Maybe he had foreseen his death or something
similar, but his last works were too morbid for me. I like more Siudmak - maybe
I sent you a link to his works some time ago? I don't really remember...
Right now I'm having a tough time at work, so again I won't be active here. At
the beginning of June, when all the exams will be over, it should be better - I
hate giving bad marks to students! Also, I have an idea of starting a new
extracurricular course for students connected with international business, so
I'm just checking out the posssibilities for now. I guess I am hyperactive as
usually .

post, but there are so many that I don't know when I'll be able to appreciate

I just wanted to finally download one of your recent Amano scans "Every
rose has its thorn" ... and it was gone! Hmm why did they delete one of
your great scans? My internet connection sometimes is really slow so that I wait
for better days to download scans. Oh well... I just wonder why they deleted
this one! It's a total riddle to me and I still wanted to have this scan!
Apart from that, I hope you're doing well. You're changing your avatars so often
at the moment! Does this have a reason? I need a better one too... I am just a
bit lazy for these things.

I am sorry about the font crisis. It is somewhat my 'Pierre series font' I
understand your point, but the border and font distinguish my Pierre art from
every other vector out there. But not to worry, my Pierre art is getting more
popular around the net so I will be placing copyrights on them. This will mean I
will have to change the border and font..It will be more professional looking
than this current font. I will also be enlarging the images as well.. So thanks
for bringing it up..I almost forgot about this idea of mine..that I had planned
on doing while ago.. -__- (is such a procrastinator) Hopefully my newest design
will have the new features...Hopefully.
