This one is really something. I like the 2nd version better though; even the upper right part is empty it still give a more realistic perspective feeling. Also the text works well with that one. About the colors; I kinda guess these colors were intentional but I somehow feel that more vibrant colors be more appropriate for this. A little saturation needed between the bg and scan.

I agree that more vibrant colours works better for the X wallpaper but I used dark colours instead to hide my mountain of mistakes *shhh* Then I tried light colours background version and I'm glad it turned out okay ^^ Thanks for the tips and suggestions, always appreciate them!

ah, indeed, you are right, the scan is seriously too jagged, I did not put enough effort, I am sorry to dissapoint, I assure you, in the future I will keep them good walls coming, this is more to experimenting with a different style, so I was playing around with the scan.

The only thing this wallpaper has more or less surpassed generic walling is probably because there is no base layer, they are all hard light, pin light, soft light blending layers. Hence explains the lighting being too much.

Nonetheless, though I have dissapointed, I thank you for the insightful comment. Those are hard to come by.
