Whoa...You gotta calm down with the thread making, I know you wanna start alot
of topics...but 30 in 8 days? Thats a bit too much.. Take it easy, relax and
slow it down a bit, rushing things will only lead to trouble, that much I can
tell you. Anyways enjoy your time here at MT and let me know if you've got any
questions. Have a great day =D.
Quote by kandlea lot of people hold
different resolutions, particularly giving something up (ie. smoking, drinking,
fatty foods). mostly, though, people (ironically) give up giving up amd simply
go back to old habits. my philosophy is that if it hasn't worked in the past, it
isn't going to work this time; a simple day of the year is not enough motivation
for a person to change. my philosophy is that if a person truly wants to change,
they would motivate themselves to do so any day of the year, and not simply
because they have to change their calendars.
Interesting insight, a little pesemistic but true nontheless.I think the idea is
a new you for the new year or something. But like you saidif hasn't worked in the
past it probably won't work this time. There are people that accomplish their
resolutions but it's quite rare.
The problem is people seem to have lost the drive or motivation to do things,
unless ya wave a cash prize over their heads and say jump ^_^.Maby all
resolutions should be "i'll find something to motivate myself to acomplish
next years resolution" and since they probably won't, they won't have to
change it.
But yeah interesting insight and a belated welcome to mt.
