to early February, and there will be a full four weeks in which to perfect your
entry at your leisure. I feel that it's a good opportunity for some of
Minitokyo's best wallpaper designers to create something really artisticm and
firmly hope that you join.

It's slated to begin sometime in December, though the official date depends a
lot of kuroimisa's The
Rotten Egg Challenge, which, if you haven't already, you should look
seriously into.
Arete in case you don't already know, is
Minitokyo's first exclusively Amano wallpaper competition, which will be a
one-rounder. Those who join will decide on a single scan, and each will take his
own interpretation to it's fullest in a 1600x1200 wallpaper. Like Amano's art,
the wallpaper should demonstrate Aesthetic Value, Technical Skill, and should
provoke deep thought: ie, have Artistic Merit.
PM me or write in my guestbook for more info or if you wish to join. Check out

while you're at it, because SR is hosting it, and will probably be the first
place to have info on updates, etc.
