anyways im in a good mood and veru talkative today. if you dont mind. if you do

Say our university doesn't provide opportunities to speak to native speakers,
all profs are russians which I think is a drawback because u learn mostly from
books listen to professors who speak with an accent and all.
Still the professors try their best by making us learn some complicated english
just as I told you before.
From recent, in the text book there are articles from economic media with some
sophisticated phrases.
Say if I were to make a back translation i'd say for example 'the city still
experiences some difficulties' whereas it should be 'the city is not entirely
out of the woods'
Or 'worries are overdone' while i'd say exaggerated.
The situation is completely different with french. We have huge bonuses because
of the difficulty of the language. It'll be absolutely ok if you can build a
meaningful phrase esp with no grammar mistakes.
Also, you know we are taught the so called proper english which is british but I
have always wished to learn the american english. The only way to catch it in my
case was watching movies but now I canât afford to buy them in big
amounts. I also had a swedish satellite television which had movies channels
with american movies. They still exist, its tv1000 and such. Maybe you heard of
it. So from this summer on the new payment policy doesn't allow foreigners to
pay for services no matter if you have a credit card or not. swedish citizens
only. American satellites are for americans only. So it seems it comes to the
need to change place considering my excessive interest in english. Anyways I
wonât move anywhere in the near future besides you know my intention to
get to seriously learn japanese (these kanji , how do they learn them in such
big amounts). Iâm thinking about the opportunity to get a job in a
branch of a japanese company you know there are some in moscow.
As you know Iâm running our of fresh ideas but than this story came to
my mind. Its about my happy careless childhood if you donât mind. I
completely forgot about it but now that I think of it it pops up quite
consistent to tell.
This story.. it s ...I donât know how you would regard it, it is unusual
to the very least. I can only tell that we were small back then and treated our
school classes like a game. Besides nothing bad happened
so,
It dates back to when I was quite small at school. You know there's one of the
most strange which I canât name or rather I donât know the
english equivalent. I'd call it 'accident prevention'. I donât know if
such thing exists abroad but in our country it is even taught in the uni during
the first semester. The meaning of this subject is to teach ppl of health care
like smoking drinking is very harmful for health esp children's. Also we are to
know that it is only safe to cross the street when traffic lights are green and
such things.
Once in the 7-8 something form we had a teacher who was not exactly a teacher
but a retired military man, a colonel and who always wore a uniform. So like
once a month he clipped a shooting mark on the blackboard in the classroom and
brought some airguns that were kept in a store room. A crazy story donât
you think so? The airguns are like those that can be found in a shooting
galleries. So we were to aim accurately and shoot with bullets. Meanwhile the
guys of our huge class (in was very big, around 35-40 ppl. To compare , at our
economic department in the uni there are 32 students studying in 4 groups. Say
in my group there are 8 ppl including me). So I said the guys were running
around the room because you know children are always very active and others were
shooting. by some lucky chance nobd got hit or injured. But we got marks
according to our shooting results. Say one of my classmates hit the bull's eye
and got an exc'. I wasnât as accurate as him and got 4 (good). It can
sound funny but when I was about to finish school this good mark was about to be
placed in my school certificate and I had all 'exc' except this but as I
remember I managed to settle this affair.
That is I think the weirdest story I have but I swear This is NOT
LIES.
Also except for this incident I must say that this teacher was fired or maybe he
was too old to work any longer , everybody else was quite adequate. All the
subjects except english were taught properly and Iâm quite happy to
finish this particular school because I learned to play the piano.
Iâm very sorry if I took incredible amount of your precious time. Once
again I find myself very talkative.
