Quote by bluSakeBeautiful :) The extraction on the hair is incredible, considering how whispy it is in the original image. The painted flowers are, again, jaw-dropping; though I think something smoother would have gone better with the style of the painting. & everything else (text, textures, etc) is nicely done too.

:) Thanks 'Sake :D

Thanks for the comment on as vast as sky.
See you around.

:Dyour page is SO cool

Quote by bluSakeIt's pretty nice. The bg reminds me of the cloudy/misty landscape of the closing scenes.

Thanks a bunch for the comments on "It'll be alright"! I really appreciate it ^^

Quote by bluSakeThe textures are very engaging, & I like your idea of the samurai brushes XD Reminds me of a Samurai Champloo wall.

Thank you so much. I am very glad that you enjoyed this piece, and I do feel that I accomplished something good here (even if it's not getting as much attention as I thought it would ;)). I am happy that you liked my brushes as well.

So how is your corner of CA this winter? Are you staying dry? I know there's been a lot of flooding and such...

You're welcome. :)

My corner of CA? Rainy, cloudy, and sunny...but no flooding. Typical San Francisco area winter weather. XP

Well, it was very nice on Sunday though right?

Quote by bluSakeThis one is so...dark, but good :) It gives me the impression of an old, stained glass window in some dark, forgotten corner. & I love how her eyes really glow.

Ahh thanks 'Sake :) Ah and... late merry Christmas to you, and a bit of an early happy New Year's to you as well :D Best wishes to you in the coming year, and I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing more wonderful walls from you :) *hugs*

Quote by omniYou've walled Yoshitaka Amano's art in the past, and I think it'd be a waste if you never did it again. You have skill, and Amano has style. And the perfect opportunity is coming up in February.

It's Arete, an Amano walling competition.

Thx for the invite, & sorry for responding so late ::stupid finals >.< :: Hm...it sounds interesting, but I think I'll have to pass. After trying my hand at WAR, I found that (a) I'm hopeless at competitions, and (b) I like more freedom with my walling. I think I'll be walling Amano again soon, but not for Arete. :)

Just one last attempt to convince you, and that'll be it outta me. Arete is meant to be very free, the only stipulation is that you use the scan chosen by the participants as the primary focus. You can always utilize other Amano art, as well, and other than the scan, no direction is provided/forced-upon the participants.

And at any rate, just getting some old Amano wallers to reconsider Amano walling, and some new MT members interested in it, is the primary point of Arete, anyway, so I've already achieved my agenda with you! [evil laugh]

Quote by bluSakeThx for the fav & comment on Laundry Day :) Sorry it took a while to respond...finals KILL :pacman:

That's quite alrite with me, bluSake! ^_^' Looks like you're preparing 4 your finals, well best of luck to U! (*throws good-luck confetti on bluSake*) XD

Alright. You've walled Yoshitaka Amano's art in the past, and I think it'd be a waste if you never did it again. You have skill, and Amano has style. And the perfect opportunity is coming up in February.

It's Arete, an Amano walling competition. I'm sure you already know about it from kuri's advertising it, if you don't remember mine. It is, as kuri keeps pushing, a good opportunity for making something with a lot of depth to it. Plus, there's four whole weeks to work on it, and it's not even taking place until, as I mentioned before, February. So give it some thought, and visit the official thread.

Thanks, ;)

Quote by bluSakeThx for the fav & comment on Laundry Day.

Floral patterns...I'm guessing your talking about her main robe, since I mentioned the origami scans for her obi and under-robe. For her main robe I used some brushes from roshiweb.com and just overlaid them ::hehe:: They're the same brushes I used for the bg in my more recent Gankutsuou wall.

You're welcome :D Thanks for the link and the info. I'm in a weird stage right now where I don't want to use other people's brushes @_@ Maybe I'll grow out of it. That site looks awesome though... :D

And wow, 'Sake liked my wall enough to fav it and nominate it! XD *twirls* A whole new milestone in walling? XD I'm incredibly flattered. Thanks nee~ :)
