not my first time walling. It IS my first vector, but I have to say there are
ways to cheat around in Illustrator ;;
I've developed some pretty bad habits and I really should learn how to vector

intentions of using it. Maybe you could work on tutorials too, it would be good
for noobs at vectoring. XP

Floral patterns...I'm guessing your talking about her main robe, since I
mentioned the origami scans for her obi and under-robe. For her main robe I used
some brushes from roshiweb.com and just
overlaid them ::hehe:: They're the same brushes I used for the bg in my more
recent Gankutsuou wall.
About the woman, I chose not to vector her because ::small voice:: I don't think
the style used to draw people in the Edo era is terribly refined. I'm sure that
you can find some prints by Suzuki Harunobu through Google; the females should
look basically very similar. If you can't find anything by him, look into
Utamaro: he's famous for his prints of geishas.
Wahhh I miss my candy and video games and anime that's sitting in my room. Wahh.
Good job on the new wall btw. I say your next project should involve that Yuko
pic from the flyer that I got you. Candy......

calligraphic style OR have flowers. The problem with that type of look I've
found is that it's not too difficult to do and it always looks so pretty...

flowers you know . I think I might just have to do another to demonstrate what it is
that I am talking about, but rest assured that there are many alternatives for
subject matter in that style. You shouldn't feel bad for liking to do them
though :P.
Of course it is always good to try different things as well, so yes,
experimenting with different styles can certainly be refreshing .
