few things i would like to add:

1. the horizontal menu (header) is hard to read, and the background of it looks empty, you should make some lighter gradient there so the menu will be easily read ^^

2. you should make something below the header because it looks empty. and because you decide to use a transparent table, you should add something nice there (gradient, a blood, or whatever you think is good)

3. the quick reply box's color is to bright i think, maybe you can make it more darker (like the quote's background. i like the color, its match with the background ^^)

2. Vectors are allowed.
3. Make sure your wallpaper is at least 1280x960 pixels in size! Other resolutions 1280x1024 and 1600x1200. Believe me, they are fun to make. And people love em more. The bigger the better. Now you know that size matters, at least in wallpapers.

Judging criteria:

1. Technicality/ balance of overall composition
2. Colour combination
3. Originality/ artistic expression (message being carried out)
4. Overall feel/ reception of audience
5. Relevance to the theme/ theme sentence

Judging rules:

1. Number of layers is not taken into account for judging
2. Amount of time taken to make it is not considered
3. Member's level number, reputation or experience not taken into account
4. Number of favourites, comments, downloads and views of entry not taken into account
5. Accuracy of the application of PS filters not taken in account to prevent members from using tutorials
6. Effort is considerable

Members:

1. Also vote on the wallpapers and lend out their comments.
2. There will be a "member voted" wall.
3. For votes, you have three votes 1, 2 and 3. First being the one you like the most, down to the third. You do NOT vote for yourself.
4. Members will favourite the wallpapers they LIKE THE most. This doesn't mean the one you put down first or second etc. but do make an effort to support the wall you feel deserved a fave.
5. Will try to not seek external help, and if they cannot meet the deadline, contact in advance.

Here we are with the Preliminary guidelines for within our own group.
DETAILS: To create a wall with as many techniques as you can at your disposal. Also, try to create a piece of work that looks different to your other gallery entries
CLOSING date: 28th August
SCANS: Kino no Tabi - any image from Kino no Tabi on minitokyo or off.
- Chosen because of it's image diversity (you don't even need to have a person in your wallpaper, just make a wallpaper based on the motorads) with grainy manga scans and clean lined anime scans to boot.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Large size wallpaper
- provide a link to a wallpaper that covers all the other skills you couldn't display in this wallpaper when posting in the guestbook.
GUIDELINES:
Only ONE Amalgamation entry per person. You may choose to change your entry after submission, but only one is allowed to be entered.
