Luckily I printed a copy of the MT2 notifications list just beforehand.

cleaning the scans. Use the pen tool first to go around the border of your
"object you want out and seconly use the pen tool with the + on it to
smoothe the lines out around the curves. Right click> Make selection Click
select>Inverse. Press delete button. I think you'll figure it out.
