Are you sure you have the view
settings such that the slices are visible? If you try to save as web, you should
get a bunch of images titled bg01, bg02 etc.

nicely execpt a huge box of white that appears in the guestbook area and extends

screen look like exactly?

When I was in Dubai, minitokyo.net was blocked! Can you believe it? The internet
provider over there (There’s only one.

I‘m guessing they saw some of the ecchi scans
and wallpapers on MT so they decided it was explicit in content and blocked it.
Boy I’d hate to have to return to Dubai
permanently. No MT forever!
The civil engineering course was pretty good thanks. It was cool living like a
uni student for 4 days. Tiny rooms, crap food Every
day at breakfast they had super greasy full English breakfast. Every now and
then is all right but it was too much and too greasy. I ended up having cereal
instead.
Anyhoo, my team’s project for the week
was to make a wall 3m long and about 2.5m tall out of straw bales.
That’s right, straw.
It’s part of a drive for using renewable
materials since making concrete creates a lot of pollution. There are actually
quite a lot of buildings in America, Europe and Oceania made of straw.
There were 3 teams doing the same project for competition and they were all
tested by trying to pull them over along their length with a big truck. Our team
was the only one to stay sufficiently upright to pass the test so we won! Yay!
For a prize we each got a pen and key ring with Bath University written all over
it lol
In the end though, I’ve decided not to
do a Civil eng course because I’m not so
fond of the manual work.
I’m thinking of taking a gap year but
not overseas because I need to live in the UK 3 years to get Home status. And
after this next year I’ll only have 2
under my belt.
A year’s experience abroad in Europe
sounds like a great idea! Maybe you’ll
get to visit Manchester I
once went on a European tour with family once. We went to France, Switzerland,
Austria, Italy and a few small ones I
can’t remember. I love Switzerland for
the snow and skiing. You don’t get much
snow in the middle east ya’see ^_~ Italy
has great historical sites and Venice was flooded when we went there :P
Er well I went to Dubai with my mum to visit my dad and then we all flew over to
Hong Kong to visit more family and friends. And I got a 1 week job in HK
scanning documents (boooooring) but I got paid so it was worth it to an extent.
Bought some clothes and stuff. Hong Kong food is absolutely heavenly. Overall it
was really worth it and we returned to Dubai before I came back to the UK alone
on the 13th. Now I’m living with my
brother while my mum stays in Dubai for a bit to accompany my dad. The house is
turning into a real dump without my mum to look after it XP

Man! It's been a long while! (That would be my fault...) But it's great to come
back to your page after...6 weeks. ^_^;; So, sashebori (learnt that word from
you ), how have you been?
Do you remember how I told you about those "important examinations"
(or NCEAs)? Well I've finally reached the exam period of my 4th form year! It's
been a hell of a ride so far...all the extra homework and revision is really
getting to me. '' Now I get a really good idea of how it must have been like
for you when you were taking your exams.
Just out of interest, did you ever have a hard time trying to pick subjects
throught out your high school years? For me, I'm at a point where I have to
start thinking of what I want to become in the future yet I have no idea! Like
you, I'll be going for the maths and science mainly and an art subject I think.
This problem is causing me brain cells.
Minitokyo is blocked in Dubai? Really? I didn't know that! Yet somehow, it's
believable. Like you said, there's a huge collection of ecchi here. Still, it
seems a little harsh to me...it reminds me of being in a strict school where
they block all websites that might damage the student population's innocent
minds. :P There's only one internet provider? That not very good. There's only
one phone service provider in New Zealand. Now that's crap because they raise
the payment amount each year and the public have to put up with it (unless, of
course, you don't use the phone as a means of contact. =.=).

Ah I see, going for the academically famous school eh? What's the school name? I
might know it. Haha, I'm sure you look very swish in a suit! For my
uniform, we wear blue checked skirts in summer, grey skirts in winter. Boys wear
grey shorts all year round (until they reach 5th form when trousers are
permitted. This applies to girls also.) Blue polo or white shirts and a jersey
or jumper. (In case you don't know the difference between jersey and jumper
which I didn't, a jersey is has a long V-neck and are knitted with wool
materials whereas jumpers are made with cottony fabrics thus are thicker. Man I
must be a dedicated fashon student to know all this! ^^;;) At my school, people

Ah, no, unfortunately it's not like that. The exams I take this year are worth
credits which will be carried on to the next year so I will still have to take
exams next year. Very
unfortunate indeed. I can finish High school as soon as I've turned 15! (That
the legal age to be able to drop out of school.) But to be able to go on to uni,
I must complete the 6th form. Many people don't stay for the 7th form in order
to get a year's head start in uni but I'm staying till the very end! ^^
Did you end up getting all your summer homework done? I'm leaving all my
homework till the very last day yet I still intend to get excellence for my next
test! Sometimes, I amaze myself. XP
Ah thank you! The Shakespeare Play went extremely well! Despite the fact that I
had a cold and had to do the narration with a blocked nose, it was tremendously
fun! ^_^
Lol, exam pieces are always tiring to play so an orchestra performance won't be
that bad. But the thing that really gets to me is that when playing in an
orchestra, you must have full attention and follow the rhythm and music because
everyone has different parts to play.

For my
uniform, we wear blue checked skirts in summer, grey skirts in winter. Boys wear
grey shorts all year round (until they reach 5th form when trousers are
permitted. This applies to girls also.) Blue polo or white shirts and a jersey
or jumper. (In case you don't know the difference between jersey and jumper
which I didn't, a jersey is has a long V-neck and are knitted with wool
materials whereas jumpers are made with cottony fabrics thus are thicker. Man I
must be a dedicated fashon student to know all this! ^^;;) At my school, people

Do you remember how I told you about those "important examinations" (or NCEAs)? Well I've finally reached the exam period of my 4th form year! It's been a hell of a ride so far...all the extra homework and revision is really getting to me.
Just out of interest, did you ever have a hard time trying to pick subjects throught out your high school years? For me, I'm at a point where I have to start thinking of what I want to become in the future yet I have no idea! Like you, I'll be going for the maths and science mainly and an art subject I think. This problem is causing me brain cells.
Minitokyo is blocked in Dubai? Really? I didn't know that! Yet somehow, it's believable. Like you said, there's a huge collection of ecchi here. Still, it seems a little harsh to me...it reminds me of being in a strict school where they block all websites that might damage the student population's innocent minds. :P There's only one internet provider? That not very good. There's only one phone service provider in New Zealand. Lets see, you had to make a wall...out of straw bales...which then had to be pulled by a truck and has to stay upright. What a challenge that must have been! But the straw must have been mixed with other materials right? Otherwise can't be very strong can it? When I heard "straw" I immediately thought of straw huts...lolz. ^^;;

Yeah, a gap year before uni sounds good. Many of my friend's older siblings go off to Europe for overseas experiences before starting uni so I think it's quite unfortunate that you have to stay in England for the Home status.
