Sounds like a case of the battered ego. Humans feed off of appreciation
and acknowledgement. Its nice and such to hear such words of flattery,
but in the end, they are only words. What will truly feed your ego are

say, let your actions speak for you and keep doing what you desire to
do. If another happens to show appreciation, then that alone shall be

to you for what you've done, then smile and keep your head up.

Whats up. I doubt that I am right in saying all that. Its what works for me. If you really wish to find out, you could always go up to ask the individual that seems to be displeased with you and inquire if you have done anything to disappoint. Good luck and take it easy, ja mata ne.
