'Sake I forgot to say... you're too modest!!! >___<

Good luck with all your uni stuff. <-- uni starts in a couple more days for me. How I will survive this last year, I do not know. Particularly since I'm already burdened with x number of extracurricular... stuff... T_T

P.S. I used to be a net recluse (after I graduated from high school pretty much) until MT... broke my resolve... T_T It's really really not good. Hold on to your resolve!

The wallpapers are deleted, use of the vector was inadavertant, as I was under the misimpression it was a scan... Though in the end how using it would be different than using some commercial artist's work like everyone else is doing.. is beyond me.

Pettiness.

Quote by bluSakeSaw Last Exile - Mechanical today, and I must say o_O . This is going
to sound shameless :: ^_^' :: but would you point me to a vector
tutorial?

All righty. I got started with this - Sako's Tracing Tutorial. If you have ANY questions as to how I do my outlines or something like that, don't hesitate to PM me. :)

r q g

yo blusake thanks for posting in my guestbook I loved that nami scan :)

Quote by bluSakeSo well vectored OX . Am in awe. & :: ^_^' :: how did you make the clouds? They look so perfectly anime-ish.

lol driven by the fact the web does not contain any good tutorials on clouds, i decided to do em myself ^^ hint: start with a rough cloud shape and erase bits to give a bit o texture =P
hehe cant give away too much cause i might not have anything 'originally me' to use in the contest thing >_____<'''''

well anyway good luck with WAR cause i know ill see some top stuff from ya ^^
take care

PS I am a vector freak!!!!!! ^__________________________^

Aye, "Thank-you".

*spams*

Feel ready for the w.a.r.?? >_<

r q g

Quote by bluSakeVery nice for a first vector :) . It's just... :: ^_^' :: the way the
clouds are, it sort of looks like Roy is blowing them out. I would
suggest using something softer...but that's just me.

Well thanks for the encouraging words...now that you mention it...the backround does seem a little weird...guess I'll have to change that :P

Quote by DarkEVOThat's what I did for the contest as well. A Hero Poster. At least yours have the chinese words but I don't. Nice and stylish.

^_^' Saw your poster in the offsite gallery. Hope you don't mind me doing a poster for Hero too.

Nah.... I don't mind. It's all good.

Quote by bluSakeThx for the comments on my walls, and for adding me to your friends.
I'll add you to mine too.
Yes, I'm using PS. I saw the tutorials for the noise filter versions of the Matrix code effect, but
I went for the the real type. It looks better since it's a close-up. If you want to see the tutorial >>
Matrix text effect.

Heh, no problem, Thanks for the tut, I'll check it out :)

Quote by bluSakeNot to worry: I've found that the only things you really need to wall are some brushes, some textures & stock photos, and some knowledge of the blending options. But then again...I'm not worthy of giving walling advice ^_^' . Maybe you should just try doing something else for a while. Making a poster refreshed my interest in image editing.
And has the structure of the competition been finalized? I'm sort of interested, but I think I'll probaby miss it for lack of info >_> . The thread still looks...confusing. What are the collaborative & individual rounds? Can I submit more than one wall? etc. So...keep me posted please. I would sooo want to rep Simple-ism ::though I'll probably be voted down, and for good reason::

Oooh ooh I see you're online at the same time as me ^.~ And I'm so happy that you want to rep Simple-ism (I was serious worried not enough people will want to T_T). Sorry about the confusing state of the thread... >_< I'll try to make it more clear, thanks for pointing that out. Basically the "individual" round is the thing with the 6 reps from each group, each waller will do heads up with another waller from another group, the group that wins 4 out of the 6 "battles" will move on to the next round... so on and so forth. I do want people to have to do a different wall for every round, and every round is two weeks >_< Not sure if that's enough time or not. But basically you'll submit one wall per round right now, I think.

The collaborative round is where 3-6 wallers from a group get together to collaborate on one wall to represent their group. This idea came out of some concerns about the heads-up nature of the individual round, I think... so yup, that's basically that.

*cross fingers and hopes very hard that all the kinks will be ironed out by the end of this week* So I think that we'll do a sign-up sheet in Simple-ism to see who's interested in participating, and if lots of people sign up then we'll probably have to do a prelim round. Now that you've told me you're interested *evil cackle* if you don't sign up I will... be on your case, hahaha... *^.~*

*Off to see if I can... clarify the rules*

hi there, i had a wonderful time looking at your works and gallery, You have a wonderful talent & style, Good job, Keep it up!!^^

Quote by bluSakedeja vu. That sounds like me. Think my case came from a combo of boring summer job, laptop mimicking beehive, and no new series. So...on vacation from walling: spending a little time on other artistic endeavors...and staring at art history books -0_0- ::though I think I'll have an itch to wall again sometime soon:: Maybe you should try indulging in something else first, just to clear your head. What inspires you?
& speaking of wallers' disgruntlement: have you read kai's new userpage message?

Yah... well, for me it's not for a lack of inspiration... I have ideas for about 6 different walls (maybe that's a slight exaggeration ^.~) floating around in my head right now, but for half of them I don't think I have the necessary photoshop skills needed to realize them yet, but I'm too lazy to browse through billions of ps tutorials and work on my skills >_< It's just this one I'm working on now I started a really long time ago, and the walling style that I like now has changed a lot since too, so I keep starting and stopping, starting and stopping... T_T I really want to finish it sometime soon though just because it annoys me whenever I think about it or see the photoshop file sitting in that folder, so... >.<

Generally I've found that I get inspired by scans... especially really artistic ones like Amano, or other ones with neat perspectives, mediums... there are some really intriguing Kino no Tabi scans that have sparked some hmms. Apart from that... actual scenes from animes or mangas that stuck with me for whatever reason are another source of inspiration... and sometimes artwork, or really artsy movies like Millenium Actress ^.^ But yah. It's definitely not a lack of inspiration... more like, lack of interest ^^|| And I'm sorta suckered into the cross-group competition planning efforts, and when I'm not doing that I'm doing Simple-ism stuff. I love it, but it's so time consuming T_T

Yah, I've read kai's message... O_O Yah, sounds like he has a serious case against the current state of affairs on MT. I've definitely read other messages on other really good wallers' userpages saying that they'll never come back... I dunno, I can understand that they've reached certain heights of "walling perfection" and sense why they're frustrated, but I'm definitely not there yet *looks at my pitiful gallery with two walls in it*

Well, wrapping up my visiting post... I took a quick peek at your submission for the New Wave Project ^.^ Looks good, I'm going to have to take a closer look at it later ^-^

r q g

Friends? You have excelent skill and so far seems like a nice guy :)

Hi BluSake !

it's been a while since I last posted here for anything else than thanking for a fav....

dunno if you could be interested, but I think you like one piece, regarding to your (really nice) wallpapers and your favorites gallery (didn't browse it but you add some of my OP scans to your favs, thanks a lot again), I created a group about One Piece, I didn't found normal for such a community, to not have a group about this amazing anime/manga, I called it "The Straw-Hat Pirates", to make short I'd like to have you in our crew ^^

i hope you'll join, see ya !

edit : forgot the link ^^" : Here it is
