hello ! i'm back ^^ the scene with the car was really weird i agree !!! but i read a lot of things about utena and in the tv serie, some "duels" have cars in it that grow out the ground... i learn that it has a sexual meaning (i think you've get it)... i hope you'll get to see the tv animation soon ! concerning the manga of the movie, it's true that we clearly see what's going on but i prefer the movie itself because sometimes indirect ways to say something are better ^^

hello ^^ thanks for adding me to your friends ! i'll do the same !!! one of my friends and me we were really addicted to utena (even now)... it's one of my fav !

The fact there was 4 different variation of the same story was really interesting ! in order, my preference goes to the movie (because it's clear and wonderful),and next the tv serie (strange, out of any other anime i've seen so far, this impression of playing with shadows is a pleasure). strangely, the manga of the movie is too "shy" on some part to be like the movie. concerning the manga, i didn't like it much except some point in Anthy behaviour.
