Incidentally, how exactly did you extract this? Eraser, or something

I used the lasso combined with
a shakey hand ^^ .
The regular lasso? Eh, I prefer the polygonal one with a very high zoom. Just
make very small straight segments that follow the outside edge of the outline,
and if you mess up, you can always hit backspace as many times as you need to
get back. It's really useful. Another option is masks: if you create a layer
mask, then areas you fill in with black become transparent (and grey is
semitransparent). Personally, I prefer the polygonal lasso tool, or if the
outline is really hard to follow zoomed in too close, the eraser. Try it next
time, you may be surprised how easy it is. And undo/redo is your friend! X3
