Hi Nitengouki. :D

Thanks alot for your very helpful comments on my drawings. You've even pointed out things that I haven't noticed before ( like the alignment of the carpet in my --Zither-- drawing ) ^^. Just want to let you know that I really appreciate your comments. It's really nice to have someone who appreciates your work AND gives constructive critism.

Quote by NitengoukiNice use of color pencils but somehow I get the feeling that you were paying too much attention to copying exactly from the scan. Some of the proportions look weird.

Its mainly the skin color cause I didn't have the right kind of peach I needed at the time heh ^.^'

Quote by NitengoukiI think Goku from DB is better than Goku from Saiyuki, lots better.
But then I think Goku from the Chinese cartoon of the classic, Journey to the West is way better than Goku from DB as well.

Hi!!! Thanks for replying my thread!!! Yeah, Goku from DB is way better than Saiyuki Goku...

Quote by Nitengouki.... Still the final ending to season 1 was surprising
and I eagerly await the second season to start.

Actually, it's season 1.5.... Sci-fi does things by a half season.... So it'll be Battlestar Galactica second have of first season... But thatnks for your responding to my thread.

Thank you for commenting on my "Why Hate Dubs" thread. You handle the comments of the person above you very well. I was going to reply to what they said as soon as I read it however I think you covered everything so well that there is nothing more I could add. Thanks! =)

Quote by nitengoukiRather than debate about anime is 'childish' or not, focus on the contents.

Some animes are childish (that's a fact), some are more adult oriented, some just give general family entertainment, some are simply sick - pandering to fetishes and sick tastes. There's no point in saying anime isn't childish when you have childish elements on the whole.

Just discuss that anime is a medium of presentation and focus on what this type of presentation can do for its contents, compared to say real life movies. You can talk on how expressions can be drawn out in exaggerated forms to better convey the emotions or alleviate the seriousness, or how certain scenes can be represented better and cheaper in animation rather than CG that has to be life-like, or how the director has better control over his story since everything can be drawn to his specifications.

Ei thanks for replying on this one. I might use what youve said on my paper. Is it ok for you to add you to my reference. If ever please give a pseudonym name if you want or ill just use your username. Thanks a lot!!!

Quote by NitengoukiThis is good! The extraction of Belldandy is well done, though some of the edges of the hair has been eroded too much. Belldandy blends well with the background in that both are of vibrant colors, which matches well with the happy emotion Belldandy displays. The background can be taken as either as a garden or asgard itself, both fitting with where you can possibly find Belldandy.
Some improvements can be made by softening the edges of the structure on the right. For an old structure, the edges and cracks look too sharp.

Thank you very much for commenting on my Belldandy wallpaper! I really appreciate it! Your comments on my last FMA wallpaper made me learn about perspectives which I applied with this current wallpaper! Thanks for commenting on the cracks as it was my first time to make it. I'll do better with the next one! ^___^

Quote by NitengoukiBoth their anime and manga. Undoubtably School Rumble is the more funny
of the two. Yakitate has more of a long-story flavor to it.

Thx for replying to my Yakitate Japan & School Rumble Thread

Quote by NitengoukiI like the concept.
The grass and the trees are very well done. The outlines of the trees
being clean and crisp from a clear light source (clear skies and a
moon) and the misty grass. The fog on the ground and the purple sky
(and moon) add a mystical forebidding feel to the atmosphere.
Nice use of light-sources too. The moon lights from the back but the
magical orb lights up all around it. This allows avoiding the worries
or inconsistencies of where to locate light sources and shadows.
The scan doesn't seem to be that high quality though (bit grainy).
There also seem to be a need to touch up that right arm since its
outline against the dress is uneven.
Good.

hey nitengouki =D~!
thnx alot for taking the time to comment my wall =d!
i really appreciate that =)
well..I allready raised the quality of the scan....but it was just worse >.>.....>.<~!!!
ow well..thnx anyways =D

Quote by NitengoukiThis is a good job of blending the background and the scan here.
The colours and tones matched well together.
The extraction of the scan is excellent.
The background fits though pretty non-descript.

Nice job.

Condolences to you as well.

First off thank you for your thoughts. I really appreciate it. Second, thank you for the comments on my Untitled wall. Wasn't too sure about how it looks but I'm glad you thought it was done well. Thanks again.

Regarding your comment on "The Central Times"
I just wanted to say, thank you very much for your comment. It's rare to get such a honest, critical, well-thought out comment that highlights the good and bad points of a wallpaper. I'll definately take the criticism to heart should I make another wallpaper of this style, and it's great to know there are those who can say more than "This wallpaper rules!" Because honestly, there's always room for improvement, so thanks for helping me out.
You rock.

Thanks for the comment on my "Swordswoman2" pic, man, I apreciate it.

Yeah, I guess the cold weather effect is kinda vivid, but I just couldn't help myself. It looked just right, to me so I had to go with it.

Besides, she is outside, leaning up against a wall, spying on the badguys. I will give a proper background to show this, should I CG it, that way her neck looks like its leaning. I was just to lazy to draw a background, then, so it looks like her neck is too strieght. That's why she's cold, too, cuz she's outside. ;)
lol, See ya!

r q g

Quote by nitengoukiThe tones in the character and the background are matching and the mood as well.
The strange thing would be the lighting since the moon is in front of Ichigo but the light on him seem to suggest a light source from us, the viewers.

ahh ^_^' yes, that's a common problem I found actually...
but anyways... thanks for commenting on my Bleach wallpaper ;) much appreciated!

Hi ! First, welcome to MT, I hope you will enjoy your stay here ^^ !

Quote by NitengoukiSohryu Asuka Langley!!! That is all that is needed to be said!
What is the dpi on this thing?! How large did you draw it at ( physically )?
This is great!

I drew it on an A3 sheet, but my scanner limit is A4 so the legs were a bit cut off. I don't remember the dpi, but yeah I scanned it at high quality ^^. Anyway thanks for the comment, I appreciate it. See you around !
