Lessee... Using absolutely anything is fine to make a wallpaper in truth. Be it
computer renders, scans, doujinshiis, anything! Just that using screenshots
directly from games isn't always the best depending on how much detail there is
in the game. Generally the wallers here tend to use scans (drawings by
professional artists found in art books etc.) and cut them out using a graphic
program like photoshop. If you look at mine. The only tool I use is photoshop.
All the chracters are cut from scans and the backgrounds created using ps.
