Miss Barbara - I forgot to tell you...

A Hockey Lockout is when the hockey season is forfeited by wither force or by free will.

For example, when two sides of the committee or two owners do not agree with what each other has to bargain at the table, the whole entire hockey league shuts down or is "forced out" of temporary business because of it. And no - it's not permanent - until a viable solution can be found and thought over, the NHL will remain "locked out" for the time being - meaning hockey players can't play in the NHL yet for the entire season <or partial, which is rarely the case here> and that just plain stinks - lol

Free will is when hockey players decide to "boycot" the feederation by not playing in the league. It's kinda like having a strike and you are part of the union. When you don't agree with the rules and such - legal cases are to be drawn over and it gets tough for the NHL, so a lockout can take effect here as well.

Hope I didn't cause ya too much explanation. You wanted to know, so here ya go. lol ^_~

Tee~Hee I am flattered! Well, I am not even 13 yet-__-'. I won't be until July anyway so I am only 12. I am glad you think that, but I have been about a year here so I have taken a lot of tutorials and spent my whole summer here. I am sure once you have been here long enough, you will be amazed at what you can do, work that will far surpess(sp?) mine.
