No, predictability means we all know what you're gonna make before you do. What
you have, is a style. Those of us who know your style understand what kind of
images you're inclined to use most often. What I have seen from observations, is
that you tend to vector using earth tones - lotsa tans, browns, greens, etc. You
also vector scans in which the figure is in a situation of peace or any other
positive state of being that is calm (this is not always the case, though). I
look up to you, in that you produce such captivating vectors.

actually like how yours turned out, and in reality I can't take credit for most
of my background. Like I
said in the wall description I used some Haruhi scans as reference (especially
for colors) and a font for the chalk writing. I think it's called squeaky chalk
sounds, or something along those lines. The "male" part is a different
chalk font as well.

After watching a littlemore Geass I can definitley say that it's gonna be hard

big "welcome" graphics that link to joining? Think we should have one?
But smaller..... I don't like it when it's huge. Just a banner that says,
"Welcome, please join" or something would be good. Unless you think we
shouldn't, seeing how everyone does it. We could be different afterall.

I know, she did a fantastic job. There are a few things that could do with some
tweaking (just two minor things), but apart from that it's perfect. I ended up
giving her the .PDF because group layouts are sliced differently. She also made
the group button (she volunteered with foor ).
As for content, for now we'll just need the basic guidelines and such. Once we
get more wallpapers for the group, then we can have something similar to how
Dark-Wallies Highlights things (3 different levels and such). Because we're
music related, we should call them "#1 Spot", "#2 Spot", and
"#3 Spot", refrencing music billboard charts. It's a thought,
right?
Now, something I totally want to do is this: Band Highlights. I was thinking
that each week I write up a column about a certain band or performer. I'd have a
little bit of their history added in there, as well as a description of their
musical style and the like. Then I'd top it off with some album recommendations
and some links to songs to listen to or something. One of my long-term goals
with this group is to promote the advancement of musical knowledge. It saddens
me when people blindly stick with one genre and condemns the rest of them. I
used to be that way with j-pop/rock, which I think quite a few of Japanamaniacs
think. And because I listen to so many different genres from so many different
countries, it'd give the MT community a chance to be introduced to bands and
performers they'd never heard of before. And who knows, they might fall in love
with them. I already have my first Spotlight in mind. I just need to write it up
and such. But I'll put that up after we get the basics onto the group page.

I meant to get the content up last night, but my internet crapped out on me, and I couldn't get on until.... 11:30 pm today. D:
But, because you made those title graphics, I asked Pande if she could help me with something first. Also, if you notice that she made a Staff thingy on the group using comic sans as the font, I asked if I should write it up in word, and send it over to her, in which she would add all the coding and such. With the Staff section, do you want to be listed as Erdbeemilch, or Anja? I'm thinking Ori-chan will want be listed as Ori-chan, so we'll edit it that in. I'm asking because Pande used her nickname and my nickname instead of our actual usernames. Maybe you'd want to go as.... STRAWBERRY MILK GIRL?
I know enough about bands that I should be able to do a weekly update. If not, it can by bi-weekly. So i'd only be doing around 2 per month. What I want to do is have some pictures dispursed throughout the "article" (which is another reason why I asked Pande if she could help code it all in). Because our group is lookin' pretty artsy, I'd like the pictures that I choose to have some matching effects and whatnot. Would you be interested in adding borders and stuff to the photos I find? P=
If not, then I'll just put a simple border around it.

Well... we sure increased our number of received favs, so for our sake it was a good thing... However, the trends weren't influenced one bit... if it's CLAMP (especially Geass) no matter how horrible/awesome it is, it gets plenty of favs. I mean... c'mon, that Lulu x C.C wallie currently on the front page is a disaster, I wonder why it wasn't deleted.
Indeed, yay for its birth... but it really needs to grow. I think it's way too early to be featured in MT Maigetsu. Maybe next month, after we get some members, some wallies...

And I think they should describe how it inspired them. Otherwise, anyone could submit any wallpaper and say "This band/song/genre inspired the wallpaper".
Before we advertise, we need to get some content up. I have an idea of how we'll do that, which I'll be doing later. Oh, and you know how some of the groups have big "welcome" graphics that link to joining? Think we should have one? But smaller..... I don't like it when it's huge. Just a banner that says, "Welcome, please join" or something would be good. Unless you think we shouldn't, seeing how everyone does it. We could be different afterall. P=
I know, she did a fantastic job. There are a few things that could do with some tweaking (just two minor things), but apart from that it's perfect. I ended up giving her the .PDF because group layouts are sliced differently. She also made the group button (she volunteered with foor
).
As for content, for now we'll just need the basic guidelines and such. Once we get more wallpapers for the group, then we can have something similar to how Dark-Wallies Highlights things (3 different levels and such). Because we're music related, we should call them "#1 Spot", "#2 Spot", and "#3 Spot", refrencing music billboard charts. It's a thought, right?
Now, something I totally want to do is this: Band Highlights. I was thinking that each week I write up a column about a certain band or performer. I'd have a little bit of their history added in there, as well as a description of their musical style and the like. Then I'd top it off with some album recommendations and some links to songs to listen to or something. One of my long-term goals with this group is to promote the advancement of musical knowledge. It saddens me when people blindly stick with one genre and condemns the rest of them. I used to be that way with j-pop/rock, which I think quite a few of Japanamaniacs think. And because I listen to so many different genres from so many different countries, it'd give the MT community a chance to be introduced to bands and performers they'd never heard of before. And who knows, they might fall in love with them. I already have my first Spotlight in mind. I just need to write it up and such. But I'll put that up after we get the basics onto the group page. :B
Oh, and about advertising, we should totally try to get it into MT-Maigetsu... but how would we do that? I saw a few groups that started "Intro Threads" when the just started. We could do that. We should also try to get some of the people that we know might be interested to join. I have a few people in mind. But as I mentioned, we should do that after the place doesn't looks so empty. ^^;
