Music recommendations.... well, some bands I really like are: The Mars Volta - they can be a
little crazy though. A lot of their music can be considered ambient noise,
lol. Dream Theater - One of the best
progressive metal bands out there. Ya might want to listen to some of their
earlier albums from the 90's. Some of their newer stuff is quite powerful and
heavy. Porcupine Tree - progressive
rock. Dionysos - these guys are a
french... I'd classify them as art rock. They're pretty good. They write songs
in both french and english. A lot of the songs have nonsensical lyrics, hehe. I
really recommend the song Tais Toi Mon
Coeur. Etro Anime - no, they aren't
related to anime. =P They are a jazz/blues/electronic/rock band from New York. I
absolutely love this band. <3 Mogwai - an almost entirely
instrumental rock band. They have a few songs with lyrics, but most of their
stuff is just pure music. Really relaxing stuff.
And I'll leave it at that. I'd be able to recommend stuff to you easier if I
knew what genres you listened to. Like, do you listen to softer stuff, or heavy,
powerful stuff? Or do you like pop music over rock?
