I actually though he was going to end up with Kaede cause they were together so
long. The other two girls were more or less equal in terms of their relationship
to the main character so it was obvious that neither of them were going to be
picked. So according to my logic Kaede was the only logical choice. Then she
went emo and he moved out (which was weak. they should have gone to couples
therapy). Of course Asa was there but she was more of a friend like not even the
focus of the story until the whole crapstorm in Kaede's house went down. Killer
lame. If that wasn't dumb enough she has this whole thing about "I'm part
demon but I say I'm a human so I'm not gonna use magic even if it kills me"
I'm like come on you stupid emo girl just throw of a couple lightning bolts to
keep the magical boiler from blowing up so to speak. Oh well I only watched it
cause I saw a pic on MT that i thought was cute. Ive since learned that this is
assumption that the show is good because it looks good is called the
"beautiful is good bias" Oh well. Primula was cute. The whole show
should have been nothing but her acting cute and a little of Nerine because
girls with blue hair and pointy elf ears are always cute. Add in the demon
powers and nerine is like 300% cuter than any other girl alive or dead in any
anime or real life. The other girl the god one was annoying and a waste of
space. Of course she was operating under the assumption that girls should know
how to cook and also have squeaky voices and act super ditzy and lame. As for
Asa she's only at about 150% percent (100 for green hair and 50 for at least
some minor magics)
well actually that's not always the case, because the english put alot of effort
in order to match the mouthing of the charactera and as well put feeling into
it. not to mention its all and good when jap speaks it bt have you read some of
the dialogue that are subbed, then think about trying to say the line while
matching the mouthing of the character. eg. dattebayo in japanese dosen't
necessarily mean "believe it", its actually alot longer that but if
you were to use literal translation it would never fit, so for those who hate
"believe it", i say to them what would you replace it with that would
fit.
Ah yes but when you compare an English yell to one done in Japaneses or even a
curse the English sounds more half hearted than their Japaneses counterparts. I
watched Fate\Stay Night in Japanese and in English and the English version
seemed ... less for the lack of a better word. Almost seemed like they weren't
into the show at all and weren't trying hard. And the best way to lip sync is to
change the wording, which I'm sure, is done to a certain extent. And it's to be
expected that words won't fit the motion of the mouth and I take that into
account when watching an anime. It's the actual 'acting' part that seems half
hearted.

I think if I had never seen a show done in Japanese, the English version would
be good enough, but after seeing so many shows in Japanese, it's a bit of a let
down to see the English version done with less vigor. Full Metal Alchemist is
about the only one I remember that when Edward did one of his fits at least the
voice actor did a commendable job with the voice. Ghost in the Shell I haven't
seen in Japanese so I have nothing to compare nor NGE. I saw Gunslinger Girl,
Elfen Lied, Steel Angle Karumi, Love Hina, Stellvia, Ah! My Goddess, Scrapped
Princess, to name a few, in both English and Japanese and the English version
always seemed not as good when it came to the voices.

It's not a problem, it's a good topic. One of the few I've actually had an
interest in replying to. One thing though, it would suck if there wasn't any
English version of any anime. Even though I may be over-critical of English
versions, it gives me the opportunity to sit with my kids and watch a good show
in English. Just don't ask me about hentai. I'd rather watch them in Japanese
any day.

I don t like to hear songs with a very slow beat.Rather I like it when it s
something in between.Usually a fast beat raises your adrenaline,and yes I want
it sometimes too but with a limit.I know from my dad s driving whenever he has a
fast beat or aggressive song he drives a like a maniac.
