If ya like Code Geass and Indiana Jones, you won't be dissapointed. It's weird.
I've never seen Code Geass - I only know that it's super popular. I was
desperate, so I asked Ori-chan for some movie ideas, and she mentioned this one
movie (I forgot what it's called) and supplied some Code Geass scans. they were
kinda dark, so I asked if there was any lighter ones that would work, and she
told me to look near the end of the CG gallery. Well, I didn't find the image,
but I found one that I thought would make a good James Bond wallpaper. When I
showed it to my brother, he said, "Give him a hat and brown clothes and
he'd be Indy." I was like OMG because the pose is sorta perfect to recreate
a famous scene. You'll see it when it's finished. I hope to get it finished the
day before the deadline (my b-day o:) because I don't want to be submitting it
at the last minute.

Not really. The Codec isn't used as much as it was in the other games. There are
a lot more cut scenes compared to them. And when he do use the Codec, they say
basically the same thing but rephrased. What I think sucks is that there are
only two Codec contacts - Otacon and Rose. Otacon tells you your objective (like
Cambell), and Rose keeps an eye on your Psych meter and tells you how to recover
Psych when it's low. I never really noticed much humor in the game. =/
I'll have to try some Codec scenerios or something...

I don't watch Tsubasa so I don't know about Fey, twins and the main plot. Season
1 of CG is really nice, maybe nicer than the 2nd season. I think it's worthy to
watch when you're bored.
The DOGS scan is perfect, but I'm planning to make a 'Le Portrait de Petite
Cosette' wallpaper first. The DOGS wall is hard, so I wanna relax for now :3

About the group; I'd like to help out where I can, the concept sound really
appealing. I don't think I'm a real genius when it comes to music nor do I know
a load of bands, but my taste is indeed quite versatile so maybe I could be of
some use. In fact the only real music related wallpaper I made so far is inspired by
anime music, though it's for Cowboy Bebop (so it's not that average J-pop/-rock
stuff).
So you'll be a mod/admin? =D
And it doesn't matter if you know a lot or not. You know enough different bands
and musicians from different genres to help out. Remember that most of the bands
you listed to me I hadn't heard of before - and I know a lot of bands.
I'm actually working on a music related one right now.... it's actually what the
layout theme is gonna be, hehe. Wait, I gotta put it on hold so that I can try
to enter Aniwood (I finally found a scan and an idea).

They are still making new games for it. See, Sony has a smart business plan.
Unlike Nintendo and Microsoft, they are not killing off their last generation
console. And since you play mostly RPGs, you'll be glad to know that several
RPGs (that sound good, too) are coming out on the PS2 in the near future (such
as Persona 4 )
I'm no longer in contact with my father... but the reasons are probably entirely
different than your's. I talked about it in one of my descriptions for a
wallpaper a did during the christmas season.
My list wasn't finished either, haha. I could've gone on, but I couldn't think
of any more off the top of my head. >.>
I used to only play RPGs. I would always save my money for an RPG rather than a
different game. But then (through rentals) I learned that other genres are just
as good as Role Playing Games. So now I'll spend my money on any game that I
think looks fun (I'll also do some research to see if it's worth buying).

group is gonna be based around music in terms of how it inspires our art and
helps fuel our creativity. I need a name still....
And I need to ask a moderator which category it'd be put into. It's an art group
similar to Vectory and Vector-Wallers, but the focus is how music helps us
create our wallpapers and vectors. So would it go in art, or go in music....?
Anyway, my point is this: Once I get it started, would you consider being a mod
or something? It's okay if ya don't want to, lol. I wanted to ask you, because I
know you have a versatile taste in music. Another thing I want to do with this
group, is to kind of break away from the stigma that most anime fans listen to
just japanese music (it's kinda true a lot of the times....). I was planning on
having some band/musician recomendations with some sample songs and such for
people to listen to.... just to help people to experience new music and such.

About Snake's future I looked it up on the metal gear wiki, so the new Foxdie
(he got from Drebin) is going to mutate too but it's assumed that Snake will die
before that. Wether it's due too the old Foxdie or the accelerated aging I don't
know.
I think he's gonna die by the accelerated aging. Remember how Big Boss said that
the new FOXDIE is killing off the old, mutated FOXDIE? And the new FOXDIE won't
be mutated enough by the time his life expires naturally. So I'm like... 98%
positive that he's just gonna die as a super old dude. :3

Yeah, it's good that they made him kick so much ass. But throughout the game, I

And the Raiden in 3 wasn't Raiden.... wasn't even related to Raiden. Though I
have a theory as to why their names are similar. You know how Zero was both in
command of Operation Snake Eater and the founder of the Patriots? So he knew of
Major Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov's existance (seeing how he told Snake about him).
Now, fast-forwarding to MGS2, Raiden's commanding officer is not really Cambell,
but a Patriot AI. Seeing how Zero created the AI system, he would've probably
recorded all of the info from Operation Snake Eater for archival purposes. Then
when Jack comes along, bearing a keen resemblance to Raikov, the AI systems
designates his codename as "Raiden".
Maybe I'm just thinking it through too much, but it kinda makes sense. And I am
aware that Raikov was only put in the game as a parody to raiden. P:

Let's seeeeee, the first system that I played was the Sega Genesis, with my
first game being "Aladdin" (I was four). Then I stopped playing games
for a long time because we could never afford any systems. Then when I was
around eight, my first system was bought for me: The Super Nintendo. The first
game I had was Yoshi's Island. I loved that game. I also played Breath of Fire 3
(I think) and the old Mario games. Then I got a PS1, and had a ton of games.
Final Fantasy 9 being my favorite. I played other games that I don't really
remember, seeing how I was still pretty stupid when it came to video game
knowledge (so I missed out on some of the RPG gems that I want to play oh so
very much). Then I got a Dreamcast and played a lot of the awesome games Sega
made for it (Jet Grind Radio = love). That crapped out on me, so I had to get
rid of it and sold all the games. Then I got an Xbox, followed by the PS2, and
Gamecube. I've played as many genres as you can think of. My next system was the
360, and now the PS3. I also have a DS and a PSP (had a GB Color and
GBA).
But because I have so many games, I'll just list a few titles off the top of my
head that I love:

Okay, that's more than a few..... but as you can see, I'm one of those Hardcore
Gamers that goes totally nuts over video games and spends all his money on them.

I think in MGS 1 many characters came across as complete jerks at some point,
Cambell sending you on a suicide mission, Otacon being to afraid to get Snake
out of the cell.
I'm pretty sure the Mrk.III can move around on it's own. I think it has its own
AI, but Otacon can feed it commands that it'll do without question. My reasoning
for this can be found in the mission briefings, in which the player has the
option to control the Mrk.II (and III) around while Otacon is talking to Snake.
But it did kind of kill the emotions a little with it zooming around so
much...

I thought he still was going to die in about 6 months or so but wouldn't turn
into a biological weapon after 3 months. Oh well, seeing how much the whole
suicide thing was pushed in the trailers it was probably called

If you recall, his body was reconstructed using pieces of both Liquid and
Solidus. So that's probably why he looks so darn good.
I thought 6 months was the time that FOXDIE would kill him and 3 months was when
it's be unstable enough to kill others. In the beginning, he mentions that he
has a year at the most, and Otacon pretty much confirms it.
But I'm glad that Jack's life got better. I mean, his life really sucked so
much. It's good that he got a break, ya know. Even though I've never really
liked Rose. In the 2nd game, I wanted her to just go away for some reason. But
in MGS4, I ended up liking her (though, at first I thought she was a little
trashy for going with Cambell, lol).
And I loved the fact that Akiba and Meryl got married. It's funny, because Johny
acts so dorky, and then he looks so... hunky. I was
seriously taken by surprise when he took off his mask. But he was probably one
of my more favored characters.

got outdone by Naomi and a little girl, he didn't even build the Mrk.II himself
but with Sunny's help. The poor guy also seems kinda cursed when it comes to
women he likes, though I couldn't bring myself to find her death scene that

Yeah, I think they made Naomi's role in things a little too... grand. Though her
being a super genius might fit... I guess. I mean, if she developed a
nanomachine virus (FOXDIE), she'd basically have the knowledge to develope other
types of nanomachines (though if you recall, someone else perfected her theory on immortality nanomachines - she
didn't actually build them). And, because nanomachines have AIs and possess
microscopic computers, she'd be able to create a computer virus (she did make
FOXDIE afterall), in theory. Though I think they made her a little too important if you ask me.
As for Otacon being outdone by Naomi, I think that seemed realistic. I mean,
she's a nanomachine prgrammer, and he's basically a master when it comes to
infiltrating military mainframes and building robots. So in terms of programming
viruses, she'd have the upper hand (if you recall, he couldn't make a prgram to
stop Arsenal Gear - Emma did it).
And I think they made Sunny so smart to emphasize the fact that she was trained
by the patriots until her rescue. At least, that's how I thought of it.
With Naomi's death, I was kinda waiting for it to happen. I can honestly say
that I never really liked her. She always came off as cold and stuck up in the
first game... to me.
I loved Old EVA! I was crushed when she died. Especially after finidng out that
she was supposed to die via FOXDIE all a long (through Big Boss' words). I
actually prefered Old EVA over young EVA.
But that whole Big Boss conversation at the graveyard, and the whole Snake not
dying thing totally took me by surprise. Leave it to Hideo Kojima to give you
the true ending after some fake credits, lol.

Ooooh, my list of bands and singers is super long. I listen to so much, it's
crazy. I guess my all time favorites would be: Dream Theater, The Mars Volta,
Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Blue Oyster Cult, David Bowie, ELO, The Eagles of Death
Metal, Autolux, Etro Anime. There's a lot more that could be concidered all time
favs, but I'll just leave it at that.

went ahead and watched a walkthrough of MGS4 on Youtube because I wanted to know

If ya like Code Geass and Indiana Jones, you won't be dissapointed. It's weird. I've never seen Code Geass - I only know that it's super popular. I was desperate, so I asked Ori-chan for some movie ideas, and she mentioned this one movie (I forgot what it's called) and supplied some Code Geass scans. they were kinda dark, so I asked if there was any lighter ones that would work, and she told me to look near the end of the CG gallery. Well, I didn't find the image, but I found one that I thought would make a good James Bond wallpaper. When I showed it to my brother, he said, "Give him a hat and brown clothes and he'd be Indy." I was like OMG because the pose is sorta perfect to recreate a famous scene. You'll see it when it's finished. I hope to get it finished the day before the deadline (my b-day o:) because I don't want to be submitting it at the last minute.
Not really. The Codec isn't used as much as it was in the other games. There are a lot more cut scenes compared to them. And when he do use the Codec, they say basically the same thing but rephrased. What I think sucks is that there are only two Codec contacts - Otacon and Rose. Otacon tells you your objective (like Cambell), and Rose keeps an eye on your Psych meter and tells you how to recover Psych when it's low. I never really noticed much humor in the game. =/
I'll have to try some Codec scenerios or something...

I used to only play RPGs. I would always save my money for an RPG rather than a different game. But then (through rentals) I learned that other genres are just as good as Role Playing Games. And I need to ask a moderator which category it'd be put into. It's an art group similar to Vectory and Vector-Wallers, but the focus is how music helps us create our wallpapers and vectors. So would it go in art, or go in music....?
Anyway, my point is this: Once I get it started, would you consider being a mod or something? It's okay if ya don't want to, lol. I wanted to ask you, because I know you have a versatile taste in music. Another thing I want to do with this group, is to kind of break away from the stigma that most anime fans listen to just japanese music (it's kinda true a lot of the times....). I think he's gonna die by the accelerated aging. Remember how Big Boss said that the new FOXDIE is killing off the old, mutated FOXDIE? And the new FOXDIE won't be mutated enough by the time his life expires naturally. So I'm like... 98% positive that he's just gonna die as a super old dude. :3
Yeah, it's good that they made him kick so much ass. But throughout the game, I couldn't help but feel sorry for Raiden. He just seemed so.... tortured. =(
And the Raiden in 3 wasn't Raiden.... wasn't even related to Raiden. Though I have a theory as to why their names are similar. You know how Zero was both in command of Operation Snake Eater and the founder of the Patriots? So he knew of Major Ivan Raidenovitch Raikov's existance (seeing how he told Snake about him).
Now, fast-forwarding to MGS2, Raiden's commanding officer is not really Cambell, but a Patriot AI. Seeing how Zero created the AI system, he would've probably recorded all of the info from Operation Snake Eater for archival purposes. Then when Jack comes along, bearing a keen resemblance to Raikov, the AI systems designates his codename as "Raiden".
Maybe I'm just thinking it through too much, but it kinda makes sense. And I am aware that Raikov was only put in the game as a parody to raiden. P:
Yeah, I guess it does make him one of the toughest (besides Snake and Raiden), because he was going through all that combat and stuff without having his emotional responses surpressed by the nanomachines. o:

Mine would be a better in-game explanation that could be tied into the story, but your explanation is probably what really happened. I can really see Kojima adding in some idiotic character because the fans weren't happy with Raiden.
Let's seeeeee, the first system that I played was the Sega Genesis, with my first game being "Aladdin" (I was four). Then I stopped playing games for a long time because we could never afford any systems. Then when I was around eight, my first system was bought for me: The Super Nintendo. The first game I had was Yoshi's Island. I loved that game. I also played Breath of Fire 3 (I think) and the old Mario games. Then I got a PS1, and had a ton of games. Final Fantasy 9 being my favorite. I played other games that I don't really remember, seeing how I was still pretty stupid when it came to video game knowledge (so I missed out on some of the RPG gems that I want to play oh so very much). Then I got a Dreamcast and played a lot of the awesome games Sega made for it (Jet Grind Radio = love). That crapped out on me, so I had to get rid of it and sold all the games. Then I got an Xbox, followed by the PS2, and Gamecube. I've played as many genres as you can think of. My next system was the 360, and now the PS3. I also have a DS and a PSP (had a GB Color and GBA).
But because I have so many games, I'll just list a few titles off the top of my head that I love:

From what I remember, it affects the cells through DNA coding, so that only those with a genetic match to the virus gets affected.... or something. There could be more, but I neither remember, nor can I find a detailed explanation.
I'm pretty sure the Mrk.III can move around on it's own. I think it has its own AI, but Otacon can feed it commands that it'll do without question. My reasoning for this can be found in the mission briefings, in which the player has the option to control the Mrk.II (and III) around while Otacon is talking to Snake. But it did kind of kill the emotions a little with it zooming around so much...
If you recall, his body was reconstructed using pieces of both Liquid and Solidus. So that's probably why he looks so darn good.
I thought 6 months was the time that FOXDIE would kill him and 3 months was when it's be unstable enough to kill others. In the beginning, he mentions that he has a year at the most, and Otacon pretty much confirms it.
But I'm glad that Jack's life got better. I mean, his life really sucked so much. It's good that he got a break, ya know. Even though I've never really liked Rose. In the 2nd game, I wanted her to just go away for some reason. But in MGS4, I ended up liking her (though, at first I thought she was a little trashy for going with Cambell, lol).
