Quote by ErdbeermilchI like the
manga it's a oneshot and a little like a detective story, with the difference
that the detective isn't actually a good guy but quite messed
up.
Ah I see. It looks interesting. I looked it up online earlier and is there only
1 volume (as of now)?
Quote by ErdbeermilchYay there are
more.
I like the clean look of this one and the contrasting colours are great again.

Her shoes are awesome and their pose shows so much

Quote by ErdbeermilchThanks so much
for introducing this artist.
I love her simple and clean style. This one's no exception, even though the
background is blank and white it doesn't look cold or emotionless at all. On the
contrary it makes me focus on the girl and her happy
expression.
thank you for the comments! and for the watch too!
have a nice day!

Quote by ErdbeermilchGreat colours
and clean look again, I like how she's eyeing the telephone.
I could swear I saw that bed at IKEA.
haha! makes me want to check out ikea
thanks for the comment
Quote by Erdbeermilch Hmm, I guess
I'll forget some but here you go:
Mando Diao, The Vines, Franz Ferdinand, White Stripes, KORN, Wir sind Helden,
Duffy, Eva Cassidy, Frank Sinatra, Herbert Groenemeyer, Die Aerzte... I can't
really think of more right more but I'm sure there are some. It's more a list of
my all time favs. I
also like to listen to movie OSTs.
Hmm, I've only heard of 5 of those, and only listened to 2 regularly (The Vines
and Franz Ferdinand). I also listen to some movie OSTs..... but not too often.
As far as OSTs go, I listen to video game ones more often (currently listening
to the MGS4 soundtrack that came with the special edition).
Quote by Erdbeermilch Because I
thought that the camouflage addition in MGS3 was basically like a dress up game
for boys (different clothes and make-up).
Hey, I never thought of it like that! But it is like a dress up game.... METAL
GEAR BARBIE.... D:
Quote by ErdbeermilchThat's so evil.
Poor Snake you robbed him of his manliness. D:
Yup, I am an evil doer of evil. But I'm gonna be making some more manly Snake
wallpapers in the future. I even have plans for an MGS4 themed layout (I found
this awesome scan in the instruction manual). So I'll give him back his
manliness.... for now. >.>
Quote by Erdbeermilch I actually
think that's a difficult question, because I have such a versatile taste in
music, sometimes I like the weirdest stuff. I'm just gonna asume you want to
know which genres I like, the answer would be: Alternative Rock, Blues/Soul and
Jazz, but as I said sometimes I like the weirdest stuff.
I have a versatile taste in music as well. I listen to just about every genre in
as many languages you can think of. And yeah, I basically wanted to know some of
the genres that you like, so that I could ask my next question: Any particular
bands or groups you're really in to at the moment? (btw, the 3 or 4 genres that
you listed kick major ass )
Quote by ErdbeermilchI wanted to
make a mgs wallpaper once too, but I gave up because of the sketchy artwork and
instead made a mgs userpage (with easier scans).
Which brings me right to the most important point, wow you vectored it. D: Must
have been awkward, but it really paid off.
Unlike Kitten I like the bg, I think it complements the vector. My problem is
the colour, I mean seriously, pink? For Snake? I just feels kind of wrong for
me, so I'd pick blue instead. As for camo, I loved some of the patterns in
those, especially the more comical ones (like bananas, or goldfish ).
I remember that userpage layout. I really liked hoe, from what I recall, you had
the little doted lines around scan as if he were paper dolls.
Yeah, that vector was a pain to do. Three days of torture. But my brother likes
it (and it made Elie... wow), so it was worth it!
That is exactly why I chose pink! Because it totally clashes with the very
essence of Solid Snake. That was my main idea behind the wall when I invisioned
it in my mind. And it's a good thing that I made a blue version. I think
everyone likes that version better.
Quote: I must admit I have a thing
for blue hair and white dresses (lol, don't know why) and I also like her
thoughtful expression.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi. thanx so much for the comments. I am really glad that you liked Ima Ichiko's
work. ^^ When I saw that image, those two things is what what caught eye as
well, especially the white dress, it's so simple and yet very beautiful and pure
to the eyes.
I hope you wouldn't mind me watching you.
though i got to admit, i don't know much with making walls and vector.
Quote by ErdbeermilchMeans just
badly written faniction. I always enjoy stuff which is so bad that it's
basically good or at least entertaining again. Doesn't just apply to fanfiction
though, listen to my
favourite christmas song, if you dare .
OH MY GOD that is just aweful! But in a
hilariously good way...
Soooooo, for the sake of keeping a conversation going (and possibly becoming
friends), what kind of music are you in to? (music nut alert!)
Quote: Great vector, I seriously
think you're getting better at vectoring her hair (I think it's hard to vector).
It's nice to see your Jigoku Shoujo walling spree continue.
Your cloudy red bg looks good, personally I would've placed the moon in the
center and made it more visible/contrasting.
Nevermind that though it's a great wallie.
Thanks for your comments. I really appreciate them. I actually really like doing
Enma's hair. Since it's pure black, I include it in my outline path. ...And I
just can't stop making JS wallpapers...I love Enma. I am
going to try out your advice with the moon and see how it looks. Well, thanks
again, and congrats on being a featured member!

Quite
true I think.
She looks very feminine, and the reduced number of colours gives this an elegant
look in my opinion.
Quote by ErdbeermilchReall pretty
image. When I see her half opened eyes I get the feeling the guy she was waiting
for came in and now she's pondering if she should actually pretend to be asleep
or not, she also looks kind of angry/annoyed.
Thanks for translating the text, ever since my french lessons in school ended I
got even worse at comprehending the most simple sentences.
Thanks a lot for sharing.
Quote by ErdbeermilchI couldn't fall

But the picture looks very nice, I like the peaceful aura it gives.
Thanks for sharing.

Don't feel forced to do so. I only
wanted to excuse my rude behaviour of not thanking you earlier even though you
added so many of my works to your favs.
Oh no, I've wanted to always! I've just been busy and then
I forget to go back ^^;
Aww your sweet, I love your walls so it's no problem pushing the fav button :3
Quote by ErdbeermilchNeither do I.
Most of the time I close my graphic programm at a fairly reasonable time, then I
make the horrible mistake to start browsing around for one "last time"
and then it's 2 o'clock or something like that. I don't know
maybe I love wasting my time on the internet too much.
New project will be finished soon (really soon) and it has a ninja in it.
OMG I do that exact same thing! I'll be browsing for no reason at all, then I'll
come across something and I'll start reading it till after 3, lol. It happened
once again last night.
But it doesn't matter to me. I don't have to get up at a normal time for
anything, hehe. And in the off chance that I do, I can run on very little
sleep.
Ninja you say? I love ninjas! I'm
gonna have to add ya to me watch list so that I can see it. :B

I'm so happy you noticed it. It's my first userpage created by me, so I don't
think it's perfect, but it's cute. The others were made by friends, but I was
tired of annoying them about layouts and decided to learn how to make one.
I used my current fandom, Hitsugaya, and a summer-ish design.
I'm glad you like it
Quote: I wish that had been my idea

I'm glad you enjoy my wallies and I put up the other resolutions for
you.
I saw the original scan after commenting, sorry.
Still, that's one hell of an awesome reconstruction. Adding that flower and
continuing the design smoothly, it's a great use of talent.
Thanks for deciding to post more resolutions, your walls are great as a desktop,
but I don't have wide screen
Quote by ErdbeermilchWow I think it
looks awesome and atmospheric. The background you made looks really great and I
think it could easily pass off as official art. The otherside version is effing
creepy.
Great work.
Thanks! I'm glad to know people are actually looking at the alternate version, since I wasn't sure that I
could submit it here because of it being so similar (though that is the
point...). Thanks again and take care!

Yay Stargate with ninjas, that'd be awesome.
You shouldn't work all night, though that's alittle weird coming from me lately
I never go to bed before two o'clock in the morning.
Same here, lol. For the past couple of days, I've been staying up until 4 in the
morning. I'm not always working on projects when I'm up that late
though....
Hey there! I just want to congradulate you on being spotlighted in the newest

Quote by ErdbeermilchLol the flying
pyramid reminds me of stargate.
Anyways, very neat vector and personally I like the colours. I think I agree
with flyindreams on the texture though, maybe turn the opacity down a little?
That eye-mountain, elephant thing is cute.
That's probably what made me dream of a flighing pyramid, lol. As I was saying
to flyindreams, the texture looked much
better at 3 in the morning. I'll make sure to be more careful with how I make
textures from now on. Because I agree with flyin, as well - it could get mistaken for low quality work.
And I am glad you like my elephant thingie. =3
Quote by ErdbeermilchLol, thats the
one involving works that combine different scans right? And I'm glad to hear you
want to join Minimalism, it's a great project.
Now I'm already curious what your submissions will be like.
Yeah, and I actually finished it last night, but the mods quarentined it. I
started a thread to see if I can somehow explain why it might be restored. If
not, then oh well. :/
I'm actually pushing my Minimalism project back a few places in my line of
projects. Right now I'm working on a horror-ish wallpaper. Hopefully it'll turn
out good. =3
Hi Erdbeermilch!
I have keep an eye (ok, both) on your walls and I gotta say I love your artwork.
It's new and fresh, something that's rarely seen on MT nowadays.
Thus I have to add you to my watchlist hope
you don't mind, :3
See you around!
Quote by ErdbeermilchYay Jin-Roh
wallie.
I think your texturing for this one is really good, the vectoring as well. The
shadows make it look even more ominous.
Great work, it's nice to see that movie's art walled on
MT.
Jin-Roh needs more love! There's
like... what? Six wallpapers in the Jin-Roh gallery? That's not right!
I'm glad that you like my textures. I dunno if I like my other one's textures
more, or not. If you were to compare them, which one would you say looks better?
Oh, the other one I'm talking about is my L'omicidio al Carnevale wallpaper.

Quote by ErdbeermilchIt's probably
hard to generalize but I like the one for "Feeding Frenzy" better.
You're making all the textures yourself right? That's amazing, I'm such a
leecher I could never make them by myself.
Yeah, I make them all myself. But the way I do it isn't as difficult as one
would think. I combine and blend different textures together to create new and
unique textures. I usually combine textures found in real life of the same type
(like various concrete walls together) with the crappy filters found on my
program. But instead of just using one filter, I'll have several layers of
different filters to create the desired effect. So some of those textures have
up to 10 layers on their own.
It's a long process, but it seems to pay off.
I have an idea for another wallpaper using a similar style of texturing that
I'll be starting on after I finish.... 2 projects. I'm almost done with the
first one (for the vectory contest. No one's gonna expect this ). The second
one is gonna be for Simple-ism's minimalism project. Then I'll get started on
one of the creepiest wallpapers ever conceived! Or not..... but it's gonna be
scary.
And once again I have demonstrated how I talk to much.
Ah I see. It looks interesting. I looked it up online earlier and is there only 1 volume (as of now)?
