Quote by Lady-Lotushello. how's it going?
yes, I heard of Goong. I saw the 1st season of the drama and read a few vol. of the manhwa as well. I like the manhwa better because i like the way the events are told. It made more sense. i like their fashion as well, both traditional and modern as just so pretty!

lols, fat lips. since I only read a few manhwa, I can only think of the guys in The Summit that also have fat lips. oh, how sexy. lols. ^^

hi-s. I love the manhwa especially its humor :D very funny when they have those huge heads and weird expressions xD I've yet to see the drama though. So, the storyline between the drama and manhwa is different?
The Summit has fat lips as well? :P gonna check that out lols. Wallflower also apparently has the same thing :D

The layout looks perfect. ^^
So the publisher are similar to those in mainland china. I was trying to buy some manga in chinese, but found them to be very pony as well.
If you get a chance to buy the english copies, you really should because the publisher did a great job on it.

what other manga/manhwa are you reading these days?

I'm reading Girl queen, Acrana, Goong ^^ ( thank god, all rights reserved :D ).
I'm also reading Ciel (very very like it ^^) in English chapter, but it's dropped >_< so I have to read the raw scan T_T .... so saddddddd
I love Kim Yoen Joo's artwork, it's so beautiful :) and each story has different mean :D
I watched some films based on manhwa(s) (live action such as Full house, but to tell the truth I don't really like it x_x ), I like the JP live action - Yamada Tarou monogatari is really good :D....
And how about you ? your opinion ^^

cool background again.
did you put black as the bg color in the codes. I am not sure why it's not showing up.

Thank U ,Lady-Lotus ^^
I redo the skin :D
I read this manhwa in Vietnamese, but I am not sure about the copyright >=(
In my country, not many pulishers pay royalties in order to pulish a true book  ( except the State Pulishing houses T_T )
I also read this manhwa in English chapter :D, and in Korea (raw scans - but don't understand anything ^_^' )
After all, nice to meet an other manhwa fan :D....
Good dayyyyyyyyyyyyy
See Yahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Quote by Lady-LotusOMG! this is amazing. I actually like the way you did the forest. the perspective is really well don. I like the different brush strokes and color, it gives more definition and it brings the character out really well. If you didn't write fog, I would have expected the white things as a really big snake or something. lols. But even so, I thought this was a great concept and you did really a great job on it.

Ha-ha, thanks))
Well, I've got really lazy at the point of drawing "fog". I always can say that thing is foggy-mushi-snake or something =D

thanx for the favs and comment. I am glad that you liked Tangka's style. ^^

XD. I'm always lazy - at the first step, in the middle and at the last steps. XD. But sometimes I'm overcome myself. (wow, I'm cool like that XD XD)

You're welcome, the style is really pwetty - all soft and nice *__* I have never seen this artist, thanks for sharing ^_^

Quote by Lady-LotusHello. how are you doing?
contact with Sony?! OMG! that's amazing! Many congrats on the job!
What do you do exactly?

Hi ^_^ I am doing ok ... except that my exams are approaching T_T This week has been quite busy again because of the study and because i am searching for an appartment for next year as i'll move to my own place as a big boy ^_^" I thought i found something nice but i was really disapointed, so i'll have to search more.
About Sony, this is just a possibility, but the manager said they were really interested. It's a Sony software development group based in Bruxelles actually. They mainly work on pay tv and on smart cards if i understood well. They also developed (or are developing) a Linux version for the playstation 3 and are developing some things for the PSP. It seems a fun job for someone like me who like this kind of topics ^_^ But the problem with this offer is that they answer a bit too late ... I contacted them like 2 months ago but i got no answers ... I thought they just weren't interested so i continued my job research and i found one where i signed the contract. It's also a nice job where i think i'll learn a lot so i'm not disapointed at all. But working later for Sony sounds really nice ^_^

Quote: I really hate those questions because it's so general. I like all kind of styles and there are a lot of reason to "why i like X & Y" So it must be really hard for you to limit down your answers. But this is so interesting that they would ask you those questions.

Haha i hate them too >_< The thing was that i wasn't prepared at all to answer this kind of questions so fast ... She didn't let a lot of thinking time ^_^" The only thing i liked in this process is the recruitment officer who is really cute ^_^"

Quote: Let's see, I like to draw because when I am looking at a blank piece of paper with a pencil at hand, I feel like I have all the powers in the world to turn this blank piece paper into a colorful world. At the same time, it's a away for me to escape from reality, so I can find peace.

I think i answered a bit in the same direction, saying that it helps to create imaginary things that doesn't exist and being able to crystalize what you have in mind. I didn't think at finding peace but it's true that it empty your mind of problems ^_^

Quote: I like water color the most because the colors blends so naturally on the paper. There's an elegance in the brush strokes, it makes the pictures seem very gentle and peaceful.

I totally agree with you ^_^ I wish i could try painting *_* Did you do some paintings too ?

Quote: Happiness is when I am completely free, there's no rules, laws, or stings attached. When I can do the things I want and be different, without having to worry about what other thinks, then I am happy. At the same time, when I can find peace in this busy world, such as lying on the grass and just watch the clouds pass by is happiness.

I really like your way of thinking ^_^ I think the officer would have proposed you the job too ^_^
As for me, i was quite confused with that question ... I said something like you can't realize at the time being happiness but that it's more a sum of a lot of past moments you think about that makes you say : "when i was there i was happy" or "when i did this i was happy" . I took some examples like when i discover something new to play at the bass or when i meet someone nice or when someone you don't know smile to you in the street , etc etc ... I think i lost her a bit on that topic ^_^"
But i think you're right, the most important is when you are completely free and able to things you want without any pressure or without having to worry about what other thinks ^_^

Quote: I find it easy to talk to people on MT as well. I tried AnimePaper and I just couldn't connect with the people there.

^^ Same thing for me again. I made recently an account at AP because a friend here suggested to do it. But i don't really like their attitude ... :/ Hard to explain.

Quote: I am still a crazy yaoi fan girl. lols. I just applied a higher standard for submiting scans during the recent years. So I haven't submit any yaoi scans in a while.

Haha i finally meet one xD I didn't know about the "yaoi-trend" until very recently. It seems quite scary ^_^" Here we haven't big anime conventions and it seems we haven't so many crazy fanboys and fangirls so i didn't know any of them... ^_^"

Quote: I am glad you liked Benjamin. He's a pretty well known cg artist in china. What kinda style do you like? I'll love to introduce you to more chinese artist.

Yup his style is really pretty i think. Yes if you can tell me other chinese artists i'd be really happy, as i really like watercolors. I think i'm easily attracted by darker illustrations or nostalgic themes, that's what attracted me with "Tang Ka". I'm pretty open minded to every styles ... But i don't really like the sweaty big breast ecchi gril style ^_^" Though, my favourite illustrator is Suzuhira Hiro and she did a lot of ecchi and even hentai ... But what i like in her style is that i don't have the impression that it's too vulgar ... Her new works are more conceptual and less in the style "i just draw a cute girl and basta". I think she has a really great notion of proportions and i also think the emotions her eye drawing style can carry are awesome.

Quote: lols, that's what I do as well. I find myself drawing some pretty interesting stuff when I am bored. ^^ fat otaku? sounds fun.

Haha if you want i'll show you xD

Quote: I played the acoustic guitar before. but that was like 2 years ago.
It was a nice experience, but i have no rhythm at all.
So I think I'll stick to art and listening to music.

^_^ Aww ... Did you try to learn by yourself or did you follow lessons ?

Quote: I love the violin when it comes to classical music. There's just this great emotions and power that it can take me away. Sometimes you can just imagine the story of the song. I think that's why I like classical music, you can create your own story to the song.

What are you listening to these days, any recommendation?

I do agree with you ^^ When violin is well played it can really take you away. I also agree with the story of the song. Often, when i had to play something at the conservatory, i was asked to imagine situations for the different moments of the score, so you can put different emotions in your playing. I think they are right because technic only isn't sufficient to be a good musician ^^

I searched a bit to show you some classical composers i like, let's do some classical recommendations first ^_^
There is a really nice adagio for violin made by albinoni here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nl6samrZt5s&feature=related
This is not the best version i heard but the solist voice is easy to listen to in this one.

I also like some piano composers. I really like Chopin, he made beautiful themes. I found a little girl playing the nocturne really impressively by chance on youtube : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=ZR2KkA1JlFs
I have adapted one of his piano score for the bass. But i haven't recorded it yet as my bass is in the hospital ^_^"

Besides chopin, i also like Rachmaninov ... It's a bit in the same mood for "darker" themes : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RXnorFwfPA&feature=related
He did a lot of nice concertos if you like this style.

Now i don't know if you like classical guitar ; but i wanted to make you listen to Tarrega. He's a spanish composer if i'm correct. I did play the capricho arabe from him. It's one of my favourite piece ... But unfortunately i haven't found a version i really like on the net. I found this one to give you an idea ^_^ http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=UBzTRR7Qv2w
An another really nice piece by him is this one : http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=64S1Pwor5lM Here the lady plays it technically really well. It's really hard to play ; what i like is that she chose a really good tempo for it.

To finish on something different i found this video about a little kid drawing ... It was quite fun to see ^^ http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=PrdRrAjpcDM&feature=related

Tell me if you liked some of the pieces ^_^

Quote: it's so nice to talk to you again. I feel like we have a lot in common ^^
have a great day!
I hope to talk to you soon.

^_^ I really like chatting with you too. Hehe it's true, i think we have a lot in common too. I'm glad we met over here.

By now are your exams finished ? If not, good luck for the last ones ... *fighto*

I hope to talk to you soon too ^^

yea, Momoco's work is definitely very goth and lolita-ish.

I think I have to agree with you, I prefer her illustrations better because her manga skills need some work (you haven't seen the other ones yet, they were pretty rough).

what have you been reading these days?

Sad to hear that you are busy with exams now T_T I will have the same problem in one week until middle of june T_T

Quote by Lady-Lotusmy classes are done a few days ago. Now it's just finals week. *sigh*

I go to a city college, so we finish later than privates ones.

If you like scenic view, than maybe the empire state building? but those locations have a lot of tourist, so I am not sure if you will like it.

but definitely visit Central Park after a walk down the 5th ave. You can even have a picnic there, it's very beautiful that you just want to lay down on the grass and take a nap or sun bath. ^^

You can always check out some Broadway shows, it's a nice experience.

if you like art, NY has some great museums.

I am sorry if I couldn't give you much. I am not a fan of tourist attractions.

but i do know the japanese book stores. You have to visit BookOff if you get the chance, it's the best place to get cheap used japanese, english, book, cd, etc.

There's Kinokuniya as well, but a bit more expensive.

Well I wish you luck on your finals! ^^ What classes are you taking?

Yeah, I go to a community college here in North Carolina.

I was thinking of the Empire State building. Well, I do prefer smaller crowds, but it's New York, so I doubt there'd be to much of that.

Yeah, I've seen pictures of Central Park, it looks really beautiful there. I would really love to visit that!

Pardon my ignorance, but what are some really good shows playing on Broadway?

Yeah, I kinda fine museums pretty fascinating!

No, you gave some really good ideas, thank you! :) To be honest, I am not too big into tourist attractions either, I just like to have something interesting to do when I go. :)

Ooo, Japanese books, now you've peaked my interests! XD Tell me more! :D I am actually studying the Japanese language at my college! I just finished Elementary Japanese 1 and in the fall, I'll be taking the second! I'm looking forward to it!

Quote by Lady-Lotusthis is so pretty. i like the brush stroke, it gives a nice texture to the picture. the expression is amazing as well. you could see so much loneliness and sadness in them. it's breath taking.

thanks for the comment on my scan! i'm glad you liked it!

Hello Lady-Lotus! I noticed a new elite member here, so I am here to congratulate you! Sorry that it's late. ^_^' I just finished exams last week.

Ah, so you are from New York eh? Cool. I plan to take a trip up there some day in the future and I was wondering what were some good sites to check out there (other than the obvious Statue of Liberty).

Quote by Lady-Lotushello. thanx for dropping by and leaving a note. ^^
I understand, my exams week is starting next week. arrr....

What kind of sights do you like to see?

Ah no problem! :D
Oy, you still have exams? :o Hmm, it seems that my college was a bit earlier than everyone else. I thought we were about right on time with everyone else.

Well, good question. I'm not too picky. I like good scenic views as well as heights. I am also looking forward to playing chess in the parks there. Other than that, I am not too sure. :D

Quote by Lady-LotusHi, I loved your new DinoxHibari submissions, they're really gorgeous. I just wanted to let you know that a scan that features more than one male (even if they're a couple), it's still consider in the category of "male scan".

Thanks for it!
So..."male scan"? Ok, I will remember it.

Hi Lady-Lotus!
Thanks for sweet comment about "Final Genesis".

And about question "What's your fav yaoi mangaka(s)/manga(s)?" answer is:

Ayano Yamane`s mangas (special Crimson Spell ) ,but also I like Honjou Rie (Love Skit ), Makoto Tateno ( Hero Heel, Steal Moon ), Riyu Yamakami (Aisaretaino),Takanaga Hinako (Bukiyou na Silent),Tohjoh Asami (Renai Junkie) mangas (this mangakas mangas I read the most).

But it doesnt mean I dont read any over yaoi mangas.

And also I glad to be new member of Yaoi-Heaven's group.

See ya.

Quote by Lady-LotusHello! How are you?
Sorry for the wait, but I uploaded the story of Long Hair special I have by Momoco on ShareOnAll just today, you can download it here:

http://www.shareonall.com/Momoco_yzpw_zip.htm

Note: She apparently did this one using CG. There was only 2 pages that were done in manga style. You'll know when you see it. This was more like a DJ because she draws her other manga like those two "manga style" pages.

hi I'm fine, thanks for asking..only freezing at night and burning in the afternoon lols. How about u? still very busy? :\

homg..the manga! >_<
*had been drooling in anticipation* n_n
somehow the drawing looks rather...creepy to me -_-" very gothic looking..well I prefer the scan but then again this is a manga haha ^_^'

take care!

Hi miss lotus ^_^" I'm really sorry to reply so late ... I have been extremely busy this week and i just found the time to log in here for some seconds ^_^"
Actually, I had to finish the recruitment process for a job as I'm graduating this year ... So i had to visit a last time the company i have chosen and to refuse the others ^_^" The last part wasn't so easy to do ... I also entered in contact with Sony this week ; so it's a bit hard to choose ... >_<

Quote: I so know what you mean. I have a hard time finding friends that have the save passion for art and manga in real life. I think that's one of the reaons why I stayed as well. I thought about leave MT a few time because I like to explore new artists and style while things here are just so typical. But I learned to cope with it as well as all the friends I have here.

^_^ I think i see what you mean. Talking about passions for drawing and for art, i had a strange interview with an human ressource officer last week ... She asked me strange questions ... It was like a psychotherapy ... She asked me why i like drawing ? What syltes i liked ? Why do i like this style ? Why do i like playing music ? What makes me happy ? ... A mass of questions like this ^_^" It was quite hard to reply directly ^_^" Luckily i didn't look as a total dork as she contacted me again to tell me my profile fits their company ... *pfew*

I wonder what kind of answer you would have answered ^_^" After this , i asked the same questions to my friends and the answers were sometimes funny ^_^

Yup ... I left some time MT and went to other websites but to my experience, members here are often nice person. It's quite hard to "chat" on other sites ^_^

Quote: I actually like the way how you think. Everyone has their own perspective and thought about a piece of art. I think that's what art is meant to be, it's for us to imagine what's behind the image in front of us, so we can create many different stories.

Hehe ^_^ That's great we think the same about that topic. *high five* Talking about this, i haven't found the time to browse your whole gallery yet. But i plan to do it *gallery exploration mode on*

Quote: I think my gallery has transformed many time since the day I started MT. My standard has definitely been raised. I use to submit a lot of yaoi novel and mange scans I found around websites. But over the pass a year or two, I started to get into chinese artists. Their style is very distinct from Japanses art. I think you can say water colors do represent a chinese way of drawing. But there are some nice CG artists as well (you should check out Benjamin's gallery here on MT, he's an interesting CG artist)

Haha ^^ so you were a crazy yaoi fangirl in the beginning ? ^_^
I checked quickly Benjamin's gallery , and it's really awesome too ^_^ I'm really happy to meet someone like you who can make me discover new artists and new styles <3

Quote: I really like drawing. But now, the only time I do get to draw is during a boring lecture.

Haha ^_^ I do exactly the same ... All the things i draw currently are doodles made during boring lectures ^_^ I have had inspiration thank to my friend Fenafir here in MT ; i'm doing a kind of doodles serie about a fat otaku ^_^" So i show her them to have feedback ^_^

Quote: Actually I am very interested in classical music right now. The music is really nice. I really like the beginning and especially your compositions(00:52 to 1:33), I think it tied it up really well and gave an almost a climax to the piece. Well done. I wish I have music genes in me.

O_o thank you very much. That's great you like classical music too ; it's not frequent to meet someone who likes it ^_^ It's cool that we share so many "hobbies".
Thanks also for your comment ; i'm really happy you like what i composed. It really means a lot ^_^

So you never played an instrument ? Music genes you say ... Anyways, you have artistic genes, so it might not be to hard for you to learn to play music ^_^

Quote: I hope you'll have a great day.
I hope to talk to you later. ^^

Thank you ^_^ And sorry to have replied so late ... :/
I hope we'll keep in touch ^_^

you have a very nice gallery as well, a nice variation of styles. I really like the ones you recently submitted, but they got deleted before I got the chance to common. who's the artist?

Well, I'm glad and surprised that you still remember the now deleted scans. You must have a really good memory :)

Most of the scans I recently submitted but which were deleted were creations of Parra, self-taught Dutch illustrator and designer. In addition, there were few works by Miss Anne Faith Nicholls. I scanned all the works from March issue of Juxtapoz but if you would like me to, I can e-mail the scans to you. As far as my gallery, I would like to say thanks for your kind words. I mostly work with sculpture, design and different kinds of drawings but if I find some time I will enrich my anime gallery here at MT.

Take care Lady-Lotus

It's the same artist who draw this one: Kaito 1 by MadoshiKurefu
And it's a guy. So maybe he is gay because his first manga is a shounen-ai manga. XD I will also submit a scan of the artist because he is also a rock singer but I didn't listen to his music yet. ^_^' Here you can read some infos about his artbook and so on: http://maruione.jp/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=208&products_id=1983
