Quote by ErdbeermilchI browsed around a little and actually found some scans here on MT.
Here, here and there. I wonder if this could get it's own category there's also a vector and fanart.

Quote by flyindreamsHaha seeing that Nodame is about classical music, I recommend anime or live action. And then the manga after you get hooked :3

I might just check it out, I finished Pincess Tutu a while ago and one of the things I liked best about it was the use of classic music pieces.

I'll try requesting a new category for it. Thanks for the links :]

Yarr, Princess Tutu is really high up on my to-watch list hehe... keep hearing good things about it.

It's so awesome to stumble upon a fan of Gankutsuou and Mononoke AND Alichino. (I was totally shocked to see in your profile that you like all these three things since it's rare for people to even know them)
Hope you won't be too freaked out about a random post on your UP, but I just had to express my happiness XD

I really like the cigarette version, there's something about it I like a little better than the more simple one. Great vector, it really looks funky I think and as a fellow texture abuser of course I love the textures too.
Great work.
Did you do it in widescreen resolution this time because it's for Kashikosa? That's so sweet. :D

^-^ Hello. Thanks for the comment <3
I'll check people's opinions about the other version (as soon as I get more XD) and change it if I have to.
And, yes, I did the widescreen for her. I never make widescreen walls since I don't need to ^_^'
Btw... Kusuriuri is luv ^3^

Quote: So true. :3

And I thought everybody's just ignoring the profile.

XD I don't see how can someone ignore such a simple and true profile.
The girl looks awesome too, who's she?

Quote by ErdbeermilchFirst of all thanks a lot for your nice comment and the fav.
About what I said:
I didn't mean it that negative. Actually I just thought that Gankutsuou often uses very bright and shinig colours, whereas I tend to use earthy and muted colours. That's why it was a little hard for me to vector in typical Gankutsuou style. Even if I use textures and patterns a lot I can't really break my habit when it comes to the colours, but I'm glad you like the vector as it is. :)

Oh, I see. I misunderstood, hehe. I actually prefer more subdued colors over bold and vibrant colors, which is why I like the vector so much. Also, I really dig the earthy color scheme as a whole. Again, you did a great job. I'll be looking forward to seeing more of your future works. ^^

Quote by sailorchironThis is beautiful. I totally agree on Clamp smoke, the Mokona vector I did for the Oldsters layout had seriously reduced smoke do to a desire for my vectoring hand to stay attached to my arm. I'm stoked that you used my patterns! The overall design for this is awesome. Great work!

The smoke sure is awkward but it fills up the empty space so nicely. XD
You know your texture gallery sure is awesome and it makes me wonder why I don't see them used more often (or maybe I miss those works). I'll surely use some again in future works if you don't mind.
Thanks a lot for the fav and nice comment. :)

I guess my gallery just isn't advertised well enough. Maybe I should put an add in MTM?

Quote by ErdbeermilchNeat vectoring and texturing, great job on all the details. I agree with ArtificalRaindrop on the bead's color though.

Quote by ErdbeermilchCrazy scene, proves 'Jurassic Park' wrong I guess (there's even a rainbow, lol).
Thanks for sharing.

thanks a bunch for your comment on my xxxHolic wallpaper and the fav on my scan :) glad you liked it!

Quote by ErdbeermilchThanks a lot for your comment, I'm so glad you like it. I really hope the project gets a little more participants soon, it's such a nice idea.

Quote by flyindreamsIf you haven't seen or read Nodame Cantabile I highly highly recommend it... definitely one of my all-time favorite recent shows for awesome characters / story that involves classical music to boot.

I just read a few capters of the manga, and the only story-arc I remember is the one with the kotatsu that curses chiaki's flat with constant dirt, lol.

Yep, me too xD I'll try to make more pimpage walls too. I think there's interest, but ppl can also be lazy :O

BTW if you see any nice Mononoke scans PM me, I can pop up a list of scans on the project page since I don't think there are that many around... I'll pop them links up when I get back from vaca ^^

Haha seeing that Nodame is about classical music, I recommend anime or live action. And then the manga after you get hooked :3

Finally, someone who likes the green version! :D I use it as my desktop, but everyone I've shown it to so far prefers the orange version. Also part of the reason I changed her clothes is so it's work-safe.

Thank you for your nice comment by the way.

Quote by ErdbeermilchThanks a lot for highlighting my wallie, really made my evening. XD
Thanks also for the comment and fav as well. I agreed with you and Gaara on the highlights stuff so I smudged them a little, I hope it looks more consistent now.

You're welcome ^__^ Yeah, it looks much better smudged =D

Are you sure you don't want to join Simple-ism? XD

Quote by ErdbeermilchShe's diving into ... concrete? I almost missed her because I was so caught up with the scenery, would've been a shame.

Quote by ErdbeermilchGreat wallie. Your vectoring is great, I really like your subtle use of texture and their glossy hair XD.
Very pretty and cheerful entry.

Hi Erdbeermilch XD
thanks alot for the sweet comment XD
I really appreciate it :)
I hope you have a wonderful day :)
take care ;)

Quote by ErdbeermilchThat's cute.
I don't know if it's done on purpose but your edgy vector makes it look like a child's drawing and kind of enhances the cute look for me.

So it would be best to pretend that's what it should look like ^^
It was not really planned that way (I still have some problems with round lines) but I'm glad you still like the wall. Thanks for your comment ^^

Quote: I agree with everyone, neat vectoring. I especially like your subtle use of texture and gradient.
Good luck for the contest.

Hello.
Thank you for the sweet comment ^3^
I thought the texture was too much and that it gave the wallpaper a tough look, in contrast with the girl's delicacy. I didn't like that T_T
But after the feedback I received it seems that I did well with the texture. I'm really happy you like it.
Unfortunately, my wallpaper wasn't accepted, Yoru said that she's too bright, I don't agree with that, but life goes on ^_^'

Quote: Really, that's too bad. I read her comment and I strongly disagree as well, if that means anything to you.
Oh well you still have a gorgeous wallie in your gallery even if it isn't accepted.

There are many people who disagree, but I don't think it will change a thing ^_^'

Quote by ErdbeermilchDo you have a thing for eyepatches lately? XD
Anyways I really like it, somehow I'm drawn to her visible eye and while I wonder what the stage would've looked like, I kinda like the cards as well.
Great as usual and I'll be watching you from now on (almost missed this one OX)

I love drawing eye patches x3 And thanks for the watch! I'll be watching you as well :)

You sure did! But in the end I was so happy to see such a fantastic BotI wall :D

Quote by ErdbeermilchHow sweet, some of the card motives really caught my eye (Alice in Wonderland, awwwww :3 ).
But don't tell me they're already gambling at that age D:
Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thanks for a comment, I'm glad that you like

Quote by ErdbeermilchThanks a lot for your nice comments.
I already can't wait to see other entrys for the contest. :D

you're welcome :D
I cant wait too XD
& Im working on my entry :D but its not going to be as excellent as yours ^_^'
so wish me luck XD

Quote by ErdbeermilchNice, I like the dark colors and bold shadows and also how his white face stands out.

Good luck for the contest.

Thanks you so much for the comment! ^^

Quote by ErdbeermilchReally awesome. That's the best brush grass I've seen so far and actually I like your "abuse" of the smudge tool, because the vector and background complement each other that way. Everything fits together so well and the clouds you added are great because they match the crazy feeling I get from their pose.

Thank you so much :D I really appreciate it.
