Quote by Lady-Lotusmy classes are done
a few days ago. Now it's just finals week. *sigh*
I go to a city college, so we finish later than privates ones.
If you like scenic view, than maybe the empire state building? but those
locations have a lot of tourist, so I am not sure if you will like it.
but definitely visit Central Park after a walk down the 5th ave. You can even
have a picnic there, it's very beautiful that you just want to lay down on the
grass and take a nap or sun bath. ^^
You can always check out some Broadway shows, it's a nice experience.
if you like art, NY has some great museums.
I am sorry if I couldn't give you much. I am not a fan of tourist attractions.
but i do know the japanese book stores. You have to visit BookOff if you get the
chance, it's the best place to get cheap used japanese, english, book, cd, etc.
There's Kinokuniya as well, but a bit more expensive.
Well I wish you luck on your finals! ^^ What classes are you
taking?
Yeah, I go to a community college here in North Carolina.
I was thinking of the Empire State building. Well, I do prefer smaller crowds,
but it's New York, so I doubt there'd be to much of that.
Yeah, I've seen pictures of Central Park, it looks really beautiful there. I
would really love to visit that!
Pardon my ignorance, but what are some really good shows playing on
Broadway?
Yeah, I kinda fine museums pretty fascinating!
No, you gave some really good ideas, thank you! To be
honest, I am not too big into tourist attractions either, I just like to have
something interesting to do when I go.
Ooo, Japanese books, now you've peaked my interests! Tell me
more!
I am actually studying the Japanese language at my college! I just finished
Elementary Japanese 1 and in the fall, I'll be taking the second! I'm looking
forward to it!
Quote by Lady-Lotusthis is so pretty.
i like the brush stroke, it gives a nice texture to the picture. the expression
is amazing as well. you could see so much loneliness and sadness in them. it's
breath taking.
thanks for the comment on my scan! i'm glad you liked it!
Hello Lady-Lotus! I noticed a new elite member here, so I am here to
congratulate you! Sorry that it's late. I
just finished exams last week.
Ah, so you are from New York eh? Cool. I plan to take a trip up there some day
in the future and I was wondering what were some good sites to check out there
(other than the obvious Statue of Liberty).

Quote by Lady-Lotushello. thanx for
dropping by and leaving a note. ^^
I understand, my exams week is starting next week. arrr....
What kind of sights do you like to see?
Ah no problem!
Oy, you still have exams? Hmm,
it seems that my college was a bit earlier than everyone else. I thought we were
about right on time with everyone else.
Well, good question. I'm not too picky. I like good scenic views as well as
heights. I am also looking forward to playing chess in the parks there. Other
than that, I am not too sure.
Quote by Lady-LotusHi, I loved your
new DinoxHibari submissions, they're really gorgeous. I just wanted to let you
know that a scan that features more than one male (even if they're a couple),
it's still consider in the category of "male
scan".
Thanks for it!
So..."male scan"? Ok, I will remember it.
XD
Quote by Lady-LotusHello! How are you?
Sorry for the wait, but I uploaded the story of Long Hair special I have by
Momoco on ShareOnAll just today, you can download it here:
Note: She apparently did this one using CG. There was only 2 pages that were
done in manga style. You'll know when you see it. This was more like a DJ
because she draws her other manga like those two "manga style" pages.
hi I'm fine, thanks for asking..only freezing at night and burning in the
afternoon lols. How about u? still very busy?
homg..the manga!
*had been drooling in anticipation* n_n
somehow the drawing looks rather...creepy to me " very
gothic looking..well I prefer the scan but then again this is a manga haha
Hi miss lotus ^_^" I'm really sorry to reply so late ... I have been
extremely busy this week and i just found the time to log in here for some
seconds ^_^"
Actually, I had to finish the recruitment process for a job as I'm graduating
this year ... So i had to visit a last time the company i have chosen and to
refuse the others ^_^" The last part wasn't so easy to do ... I also
entered in contact with Sony this week ; so it's a bit hard to choose ...
Quote: I so know what you mean. I
have a hard time finding friends that have the save passion for art and manga in
real life. I think that's one of the reaons why I stayed as well. I thought
about leave MT a few time because I like to explore new artists and style while
things here are just so typical. But I learned to cope with it as well as all
the friends I have here.
^_^ I think i see what you mean.
Talking about passions for drawing and for art, i had a strange interview with
an human ressource officer last week ... She asked me strange questions ... It
was like a psychotherapy ... She asked me why i like drawing ? What syltes i
liked ? Why do i like this style ? Why do i like playing music ? What makes me
happy ? ... A mass of questions like this ^_^" It was quite hard to reply
directly ^_^" Luckily i didn't look as a total dork as she contacted me
again to tell me my profile fits their company ... *pfew*
I wonder what kind of answer you would have answered ^_^" After this , i
asked the same questions to my friends and the answers were sometimes funny
^_^
Yup ... I left some time MT and went to other websites but to my experience,
members here are often nice person. It's quite hard to "chat" on other
sites ^_^
Quote: I actually like the way how
you think. Everyone has their own perspective and thought about a piece of art.
I think that's what art is meant to be, it's for us to imagine what's behind the
image in front of us, so we can create many different
stories.
Hehe ^_^ That's great we think the same about that topic. *high five* Talking
about this, i haven't found the time to browse your whole gallery yet. But i
plan to do it *gallery exploration mode on*
Quote: I think my gallery has
transformed many time since the day I started MT. My standard has definitely
been raised. I use to submit a lot of yaoi novel and mange scans I found around
websites. But over the pass a year or two, I started to get into chinese
artists. Their style is very distinct from Japanses art. I think you can say
water colors do represent a chinese way of drawing. But there are some nice CG
artists as well (you should check out Benjamin's gallery here on MT, he's an
interesting CG artist)
Haha ^^ so you were a crazy yaoi fangirl in the beginning ? ^_^
I checked quickly Benjamin's gallery , and it's really awesome too ^_^ I'm
really happy to meet someone like you who can make me discover new artists and
new styles <3
Quote: I really like drawing. But
now, the only time I do get to draw is during a boring
lecture.
Haha ^_^ I do exactly the same ... All the things i draw currently are doodles
made during boring lectures ^_^ I have had inspiration thank to my friend
Fenafir here in MT ; i'm doing a kind of doodles serie about a fat otaku
^_^" So i show her them to have feedback ^_^
Quote: Actually I am very
interested in classical music right now. The music is really nice. I really like
the beginning and especially your compositions(00:52 to 1:33), I think it tied
it up really well and gave an almost a climax to the piece. Well done. I wish I
have music genes in me.
O_o thank you very much. That's great you like classical music too ; it's not
frequent to meet someone who likes it ^_^ It's cool that we share so many
"hobbies".
Thanks also for your comment ; i'm really happy you like what i composed. It
really means a lot ^_^
So you never played an instrument ? Music genes you say ... Anyways, you have
artistic genes, so it might not be to hard for you to learn to play music
^_^
Quote: I hope you'll have a great
day.
I hope to talk to you later. ^^
Thank you ^_^ And sorry to have replied so late ... :/
I hope we'll keep in touch ^_^
Quote by Lady-LotusI really like the
marine life of this picture. the colors of the exotic fishes, refs, and the
ocean floor look really amazing. a very interesting perspective as well. thanx
for sharing this wonderful scan!
thx you for comment, I hope that this image inspires someone to do a wallpaper
of it to put on my pc, since I am not good in this. Bye <3
you have a very nice gallery as well, a nice variation of styles. I really like
the ones you recently submitted, but they got deleted before I got the chance to
common. who's the artist?
Well, I'm glad and surprised that you still remember the now deleted scans. You
must have a really good memory
Most of the scans I recently submitted but which were deleted were creations of
Parra, self-taught Dutch illustrator and designer. In addition, there were few
works by Miss Anne Faith Nicholls. I scanned all the works from March issue of
Juxtapoz but if you would like me to, I can e-mail the scans to you. As far as
my gallery, I would like to say thanks for your kind words. I mostly work with
sculpture, design and different kinds of drawings but if I find some time I will
enrich my anime gallery here at MT.
Quote by Lady-LotusOMG! this artist is
SO awesome! I have never heard of her. Do you know what kind of work she do?
love the detailed hair and wings. very interesting coloring style as well. thanx
so much for sharing!
many <3 and appreciation. hope you''ll have a wonderful
day!
Hey !
No problem with the favs 'cause they were all well deserved. Your scans are
beautiful and amazing and I would like to thank you for sharing them with
everyone.
Quote by Lady-LotusOh, thisis very
pretty! I really like the different texture you added on, it's very abstract at
one point, very awesome work. nice expression, I think it reflect the movie a
lot, especially the blood and tears. (that was one crazy movie with a
dysfunctional family. lols) great job again!
texture? I think you meant layer thanks for
the comment, yeah that movie's really disturbing for me lol. btw, don't worry
about the delay..I can wait til you have the time or so...
Quote: ooo....I have seen this one.
it's from a dj called "Roulinsou" by Kitamura Koume. I really like the
art style a lot. This was one of my fav pic as well. the screen with letters
written on it is very poetic and beautiful with the red shades as the
background. thanx for sharing!
I know... I've read it >:3
I expected more details, but it was a cute smut.
I like the style too <3
If you know where can I get more Bleach doujinshi (yaoi or straight) please let
me know. I'm aiming for the ones that feature Hitsugaya (my current fandom).
Thanks for the comment, I rarely post scans, so I'm glad you liked it.
Hi!
Sorry, I'm trouble you ><
I've tried many time. The skin's changed but it turned likethat.
I don't know what happened ? But the skin hasn't been filled up the screen.

the invite. But I have to decline because I got my hands full at my own groups.
Moreover, I don't want to be a member that doesn't participate in a group. But
still you for the though of asking me. sorries.
Is cool no hard feel. Thanks for letting me know. See you around.
Quote: Hello! it's so nice to meet
you.
oh, i don't mind at all.
thank you so much for your comments, I enjoyed reading them very much. ^^
In, That Day - By The Sea, I don't think the artist's comment relate to the text
on the image. Apparently, he doesn't like to draw girls too much (I have no idea
why), so he intentionally doesn't show one of the girl's face. The text on each
picture is a bit ambiguous to me as well.
I am so glad that you liked them. I really want to bring and introduce more
chinese artist to this community because their style is so different from the
japanese style. (and because I love water colors. ^^)
I kinda stopped drawing due to school work. it really drains your energy and and
decreases my inspiration. So I haven't got the urge to draw in a long time.
Besides, I think DA is a better place to post your own drawings.
it's great talking to you.
I'll hope we'll be good friends here. ^^
Hehe thank you ^_^ I'm glad you took the time to answer me and i'd really like
to be friend with you too. This is one of the point i really like in Minitokyo
and that made me come back here, the fact of being able to meet people sharing
the same passion for illustrations, drawing, ... Actually, very few of my real
life friends share this passion, so i really enjoy speaking about that here with
people like you ^_^ So yeah, it would be great to be your friend :3
I see what you mean about "That day - by the sea". So it looks like
the pose of the girl is because he just didn't want to draw her face ... I was
imagining she could be in this pose because something bad happened ... Like she
felt bad or i don't know ... You know, he always seems to draw sad scenes so i
thought something bad happened for that girl ... *i guess i'm imagining too
much* But you know, that's what i like in his illustration ; the fact that you
can imagine stories to the illustrations ... That's something you really can't
do with the usual ecchi scans we see here ^_^"
So the artist is Chinese ? Is he representative of a "Chinese way" of
drawing ?
I guess that a lot of the artists you feature on your gallery are from China
then ?
Aww ... I know what you feel about drawing ... i'm a bit
in the same situation ... Too much work with school and music and i can't take
the time to do serious illustrations Though i'd
really like to restart next year after my graduation.
I checked your illustrations on DA ; there are really nice concepts and ideas. I
hope you'll find some time to continue ^_^
Ho, i don't know if you sometimes like listening to classical music but i wanted
to ask you your opinion about something i did recently. Actually i scanned an
illustration from Suzuhira Hiro recently , and there was a piano score going
with it. As i'm quite curious and as i wanted to show it to my friend Fenafir
here on MT, i tried to play the score with a bass. I think the result is quite
nice but i'd love to have some external opinions about it ^_^ This is the link
to the scan ( Moonlight
Sonata by papyworld ) ; and the link to the music video is in the
description. I would love to have your general opinion about it
Well ... Time for me to go ^_^ *I did switch to the friend list, as i think that
now i don't need the watchlist thing to remember browsing your gallery *
I hope you don't mind me to add you in my watchlist. I went through the
beginning of your gallery and i discovered so many great artists O_o I didn't
have the time to browse everything but i'll sure do it ^_^
I was a bit surprised that seeing so many nice and original illustrations you
didn't submit any of your drawings here. Oh, i just see that you have deviant
art account so i'll go take a look there ^_^
heard of Gackt, but not Yoshiki. I am not too familiar with the two. sorries.
But if there isn't a Yoshiki group, then you can give it a try. I don't think it
cost that much to make a group. But it's really hard to keep it active. It can
be frustrating sometimes. I think if you have extra time and there are people
that like him, then make one.
i went to Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Venice, Florence and Rome ^^
20days of pleasure hehe now 'im full of work here hehe
i'll see what i'll do about the group first gonna chek to see if there's none
around
if you want to know a little about Yoshiki you can listen my playlist on my
page
there are my favorites ballads from X Japan (yoshiki plays the piano and Drumps
and composed the songs and he was the menager and the leader hehe he's the best
^^ the band is making a come back i'm really happy)
well talk to you soon and by the way i loved your new scans where do you find
those artists?
when i grow up i want to draw like them hehe
see you o/

really hard to find a complete chap scans for them because the publisher is
extremely strict about it. The guy with the long hair is in one of her manga
called "My (Desk mate) is Long Hair" I only have one special chapter
from the series in chinese. do you still want it?
oh..sure I'll love to have it. Want to see how it's like :P

Hi Lady-Lotus!
Thanks for sweet comment about "Final Genesis".
And about question "What's your fav yaoi mangaka(s)/manga(s)?" answer is:
Ayano Yamane`s mangas (special Crimson Spell ) ,but also I like Honjou Rie (Love Skit ), Makoto Tateno ( Hero Heel, Steal Moon ), Riyu Yamakami (Aisaretaino),Takanaga Hinako (Bukiyou na Silent),Tohjoh Asami (Renai Junkie) mangas (this mangakas mangas I read the most).
But it doesnt mean I dont read any over yaoi mangas.
And also I glad to be new member of Yaoi-Heaven's group.
See ya.
