I personally don't like the R.O.D wallpapers on MT. For one, they are pretty
old, and two, they just don't catch my eye. Also, I don't think any of them are
vectored..... no wait, there is at least one that is vectored..... there could
be more but I don't remember them. =P And besides, you're a better wallpaper
artist than you give yourself credit. I mean, it's one thing to be humble, but
that doesn't mean you should have no faith in your own artwork.
I probably will be able to finish it in time if she extends the deadline. I
should be finished with your gift by your birthday anyway (I'm finally almost
donw with lining it... I haven't had a lot of time to work on it...). If I can't
find a good environment, I might start over with a new indoor entry. There are a
few scans I have laying around that I've been wanting to use that would fit the
theme perfectly.
My birthday isn't for another month, so you have more than enough time to finish
it. And if for some reason you can't finish it for my birthday, no biggie. Take
as much time on it as you need. ^^

The sole reason why I use textures is because my work turns out better when I
do, rather than when I don't, in my opinion. I think all of my elite wallpapers
(I don't have many) have some textures. But I plan on using minimul textures on
the wallpaper I'm making for you. ^^

well I wanted to talk to you about VK contest
after thinking over & over I've decided that we should have a project
instead of a contest
& the project will be about
cleaning Vampire knight scans
we have so many beautiful vk scans & most of them are ruined with texts,some
of them are small or in low quality
I think this will be an interesting project with
this project we will have beautiful cleaned VK scans
& each time we get a new scan we will add it to the cleaning list
members have to vector the scans
its up to them to decide whether they want to make a vector art or a vectored
wallpaper out of the scans

I have a trick when it comes to textures. What I do is find pictures of various
textures found in nature - like a crumbling wall or a rust-covered pipe - and
mix them together. I do this my using the transparency with the program I use (I
don't use photoshop much, so I dunno if it has that or not). I fade the many
different textures over eachother as well as changing the colors of the seperate
layers a bit. In the end I create a totally unique texture. It's kinda hard to
explain, and must seem difficult, but it's actuallyreally easy to do.

The thing that makes this wallpaper kind of difficult is that the metal gear
girl is perfectly sideways, meaning I need a perfectly sideways background -
like something in a 2D fighting game. And because I was limiting myself to an
indoor environment, I could find any good screenshots of a 2D fighting game
battle stage. Maybe because I'm no longer doing it for the contest I'll be able
to find something?

Well, that's true. There's a lot of people who prefer the villain over good guy.
So.. it's kinda puzzling. You know Naraku from Inuyasha? That guy is one of the
most evil character, but there's a lot of people who actually like him! I
wouldn't say Sesshoumaru is also evil, since he's actually not. He's just easily
misunderstood because of his cold personality
Anyways, I really don't understand this weird obsessions over evil character
So far, I've never been into villain.... but I guess there's
one or two that I found attractive: Sephiroth. Oh yeah, I couldn't hate that
guy! But it's not like I'm a fan either.. Hmm.. quite complicated! But as for
Sara, I REALLY hates him! Oh my god... he's already appear at the end of episode
84, so we'll be seeing a lot of him later! And what I can't stand to watch is,
the way Yuuri treating him. Later, he'll found out that Sara is evil, but he's
still want to meet him again.. and befriends! But what happens in th novel?
Yeah, Yuuri lost his eyes and was tortured by Sara. If Yuuri still want to be
friends with Sara after that happened, I'm soooooooooooo going to kill him
personally! Yuuri is kind.. but he's actually way to kind. He trusts other
easily, even though that person has hurt/betrayed him . I really couldn't stand
that character of him. More like, I'm really annoyed by that nature. Well, I
admit that his kindness & naivety change some people, but I don't think
that's gonna work with Sara. That guy evilness has no bound, he'll do ANYTHING
to make Yuuri his ally.

character poll! I laugh really hard when I found out about that! I've never
expected that the Japanese prefer him over Hiroki! Oh, in the poll Usagi-san #2,
Hiroki #3, Nowaki #4, Miyagi #5 & Shinobu #6. All main character in it! Oh,
I forgot.. Suzuki-san #7! *laugh* Anyways, that made me feel REALLY good. I
mean, Misaki #1? I bet Hiroki fans didn't expect that, and I can imagine the
look on their face when they see the result!
Well, that's true! Sakupyon really good! I didn't believe it at first! I first
know Sakupyon from Kyou Kara Maou... When I watched Meine Liebe (on the same
year as Maruma), I still couldn't believe that the it's the same seiyuu. And
even more after watching Advent Child! I mean, even if you listen carefully, you
won't noticed that they're done by the same person! Well, maybe it's just me..
since at that time.. I'm still new with this seiyuu thingie. Ahhh... talking
about Sakupyon, I'm working on introduction for Sakupyon that I wanna put on my

My Metal gear wallpaper is being scrapped. I can't get the background correctly,

I personally don't like the R.O.D wallpapers on MT. For one, they are pretty old, and two, they just don't catch my eye. Also, I don't think any of them are vectored..... no wait, there is at least one that is vectored..... there could be more but I don't remember them. =P And besides, you're a better wallpaper artist than you give yourself credit. I mean, it's one thing to be humble, but that doesn't mean you should have no faith in your own artwork.
I probably will be able to finish it in time if she extends the deadline. I should be finished with your gift by your birthday anyway (I'm finally almost donw with lining it... I haven't had a lot of time to work on it...). If I can't find a good environment, I might start over with a new indoor entry. There are a few scans I have laying around that I've been wanting to use that would fit the theme perfectly.
My birthday isn't for another month, so you have more than enough time to finish it. And if for some reason you can't finish it for my birthday, no biggie. Take as much time on it as you need. ^^

The sole reason why I use textures is because my work turns out better when I do, rather than when I don't, in my opinion. I think all of my elite wallpapers (I don't have many) have some textures. But I plan on using minimul textures on the wallpaper I'm making for you. ^^

we have so many beautiful vk scans & most of them are ruined with texts,some of them are small or in low quality

& each time we get a new scan we will add it to the cleaning list

I have a trick when it comes to textures. What I do is find pictures of various textures found in nature - like a crumbling wall or a rust-covered pipe - and mix them together. I do this my using the transparency with the program I use (I don't use photoshop much, so I dunno if it has that or not). I fade the many different textures over eachother as well as changing the colors of the seperate layers a bit. In the end I create a totally unique texture. It's kinda hard to explain, and must seem difficult, but it's actuallyreally easy to do.

The thing that makes this wallpaper kind of difficult is that the metal gear girl is perfectly sideways, meaning I need a perfectly sideways background - like something in a 2D fighting game. And because I was limiting myself to an indoor environment, I could find any good screenshots of a 2D fighting game battle stage. Maybe because I'm no longer doing it for the contest I'll be able to find something?

I think your vectors are really good - especially that last one. I mean, your's may be from simple scans, but they come out nicely. Mine are sometimes from difficult scans, but the outcome is always pretty simple. ^^'

Well, my idea should work. I'm just a little concerned with the dress. You see, I plan on hand-drawing a dress onto a guy while I vector it. I'm just not too confident in my abilities with drawing or with a tablet for that matter. I guess I could get my brother to help me, because he's good at drawing. But if I can't do what I hav in mind, then I'll have to come up with a new idea or drop the contest.

Well, that's true. There's a lot of people who prefer the villain over good guy. So.. it's kinda puzzling. You know Naraku from Inuyasha? That guy is one of the most evil character, but there's a lot of people who actually like him! I wouldn't say Sesshoumaru is also evil, since he's actually not. He's just easily misunderstood because of his cold personality
Anyways, I really don't understand this weird obsessions over evil character

Sara, I REALLY hates him! Oh my god... he's already appear at the end of episode
84, so we'll be seeing a lot of him later! And what I can't stand to watch is,
the way Yuuri treating him. Later, he'll found out that Sara is evil, but he's
still want to meet him again.. and befriends! But what happens in th novel?
Yeah, Yuuri lost his eyes and was tortured by Sara. If Yuuri still want to be
friends with Sara after that happened, I'm soooooooooooo going to kill him
personally! Yuuri is kind.. but he's actually way to kind. He trusts other
easily, even though that person has hurt/betrayed him . I really couldn't stand
that character of him. More like, I'm really annoyed by that nature. Well, I
admit that his kindness & naivety change some people, but I don't think
that's gonna work with Sara. That guy evilness has no bound, he'll do ANYTHING
to make Yuuri his ally.

I laugh really hard when I found out about that! I've never expected that the Japanese prefer him over Hiroki! Oh, in the poll Usagi-san #2, Hiroki #3, Nowaki #4, Miyagi #5 & Shinobu #6. All main character in it! Oh, I forgot.. Suzuki-san #7! *laugh* Anyways, that made me feel REALLY good. I mean, Misaki #1? Well, that's true! Sakupyon really good! I didn't believe it at first! I first know Sakupyon from Kyou Kara Maou... When I watched Meine Liebe (on the same year as Maruma), I still couldn't believe that the it's the same seiyuu. And even more after watching Advent Child! I mean, even if you listen carefully, you won't noticed that they're done by the same person! Well, maybe it's just me.. since at that time.. I'm still new with this seiyuu thingie. Ahhh... talking about Sakupyon, I'm working on introduction for Sakupyon that I wanna put on my Suzaku & Luka fanlisting. I'm also doing some essay in defense of Suzaku. Okay, my head feels like exploding, coz I'm really bad to put it into words. I know very well why I like Suzaku, and I also noticed a lot of things that other's didn't... but to put it into words without having to compared him with Lelouch is a hard thing to do

It's kinda difficult in the fact that the pics are kind of.... sketchy and I'm completely changing the style so it's more.... bold I guess. But it's more time consuming than difficult. I'm currently coloring it right now.... but only the base colors. Then I need to go on a hunt for some camo textures and stuff. If I work dilegently, I should finish it in 2 to 3 days. Well... I'll just have to try different color schemes and see whichever one looks best. Any color scheme that you don't like? I don't want to end up making a wallpaper that is colored in hues you dislike.
My Metal gear wallpaper is being scrapped. I can't get the background correctly, so I'm not gonna make it. I don't want to submit a wallpaper I half-assed.
But I'm gonna finish applying textures to the vector and just submit that whenever I'm finished with these contest wallpapers. As for the complexity of the Lovely Complex scan, it's actually easier than I thought it'd be. So I should have that done by your birthday!
