Quote by windyrollerThe stippling is wonderful on this. When I first saw the preview, I thought you'd used a screentone. I'm in awe of anyone who can use stippling like this, though. Excellent job on that.

My only concern with this was that Tyki seems a bit... off. But the sheer amount of detail and work that you've put into this more than makes up for him. Road especially looks awesome. Very nice work. :D

hi there ! i want to thank you for your nice comment on my newest drawing ~ glad to hear you like it and especially of the dottings ! i guess i would have used screentone to do them but i haven't found/heard of any place where they would be sold here ~ so since i don't have them and also can't do digitally, i made them traditionally on my own. though i have sometimes thought that it might be faster if would be able to do digitally or have the screentones, but would it be as fun and then enjoy the hard work as much as now when have to do them on my own. anyway, thank you really much for your compliment ~ i really appreciate it :)

aah, tyki ~ i didn't manage to do him quite well and not the way i wanted. i wanted him to be portrayed bit from bird's eye view, but i couldn't get it done right. but i'm happy the way i still got him since it might have been worse too. thank you again for the compliment and critique as well ! it's always nice to get some not so well succeeded things pointed out too along the succeeded ones, gives good balance and not the feeling that everybody is just saying your work is perfect ~ (not dare to point out something which they don't like, just because you are their friend or that not make you offended) ~ when you can clearly see it yourself that it honestly isn't ~ hehe, am i making any sense ?

anyway, thank you again for your comment and favourite too ! :3

Quote by windyroller You've made me curious, though: which captain is your fav?

Oh my... I've a penchant for the oddballs-- Shunsui (mainly because of Nanao though), Ukitake, and Gin. Though truth be told I much like the Lieutenants more than the Captains. :D

Quote: Thank you! :D I'm glad some folks have full-viewed it... The small version really does kill it.

Sure, I don't mind joining. :D

XD Not really, I think people should be attracted by his ice wings, they're quite eye catching. Thanks for checking the group, it's kinda lonely lately, so I just thought a sweet new member will help liven up things.

Quote by twilightofroseWow! This looks so awesome! He looks just like OoT Link! Or TP Link. They're both awesome, anyway XD

Awesomeness. Can't describe its awesomeness well enough. *drools over it* lol

Link is awesomeness period, though more so in OoT and TP. lol. I'm awfully fond of full-grown Link...

Thank you!

HELL YES! Grown-up Link is the best! XD Gee, I wonder why... XD

You're welcome! It was well-deserved :)

Quote by beyondmeasure[qu(...) is a great example of the kind of quality artwork that can be produced with time and commitment. From the shading of the colors in the mermaids tail to the sunshine rays, windyroller has clearly demonstrated how talented she is with markers. If you haven't done so already, this is definitely an artist to add to your watchlist!

I will! I will!

Lol. Thank you for the watch, fav, and comment! XD

Much obliged!

I cannot make any artworks, you see, and the only way I could ever (even partly) make up for this is to fav every good - or GREAT - wallpaper, doujinshi, or scan that I see.

So, a good day!

Quote by acid-awakeningIt's always worth the time if you learn something new! Humm finding Nemo ay? :P Ever seen Shark Tail? Now that's a good source of inspiration. ANyway, back to the drawing. I like how it's large and a full page. There's nothing worse than bad composition :O Excellent stuff!

lol. Thank you!

Actually, no, I've not ever seen Shark Tail... I kind of forgot about that movie. So it's pretty good?

Yub, not only is it funny but it'll keep you goin

Quote by windyrollerVery nice gryphon! I like the sketchy feel this pic has.

Do you use a pencil first, or is it all free-handed in ink?

thanks for the fav on mine as well. Im glad you liked it.
most of my other submissions were done with pencil, but this one and my phoenix drawing were all done with pen only.

Quote by windyroller400 sketches of Zelda? Wow... That is a lot of pictures dedicated to Zelda! XD

I'm pretty sure it's from 5 years of accumulation, though, so don't worry too much about my health. :p hehe, your welcome. I like your art. :D

Quote by windyrollerOh, hey, you don't think it's too dark now, do you? I've been trying to darken some part of it so that the focus is more on the wolves in the center, but I'm not sure if I went a bit too far....

I prefer the first version you posted up. With the blue being so much darker now, it is easy to overlook the white wolf.

Quote by windyrollerYay! I inspired someone!

I'm not sure if I see what you're saying about the neck, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for that in future drawings. :D

Thank you so much for the comment!

Well you try doing what you did to the character you made. It's quite hard and will strain your neck muscle if you bend it like that for too long.
