but since its a contest is for the dark-wallies group you should use the dark version
its creepy but very well done at the same time
as for the bg..... its looking good but I think you should make the moon smaller & change the bg's color to dark blue close to black
& see how it looks & try adding a colorful gradient to the bg & change the layers mode & see if it looks better

I kept of thinking why did he do that so here it is what I've been thinking off
as we know about the twins curse the fetuses fight to eat each other inside the womb,usually the hunter's twin never survives but sometimes one only survives & its rarely happens & the one who survived will became the strongest vampire hunter
now I thought of 2 reasons for ichiru behavior:

1) rido must have told him that if he eats (kills,devours,drinks blood I dont know which word to use here cause I dont know how the eating process happens ) the other twin he will gain the power that he needs to avenge Shizuka death

2)maybe he shot him so that zero would eat him & becomes the strongest vampire hunter...... I know you're wondering why he would do that
well as we know ichiru is a kind person & he loves his brother,Ichiru definitely knows who is the one who killed shizuka(kaname) & he knows that rido was not been kind to shizuka ever & he did caused her pain so rido is Ichiru's target too by becoming one with zero he will be able to finish both rido & kaname

well thats what I have been thinking & probably both of them are not correct
but I really dont want to lose my cute Ichiru I will be sad if he dies

So the two reasons you came up is either Ichiru eats Zero or Zero eats Ichiru... But from how the manga is processing now... And Zero as the main character, I think that the second reason you came up might be closer to the real answer.

I made a Shiki wallpaper from a scan you probably know... I vectored it and color and blah blah... Add weird stuffs and the outcome... is weird... I made a bloody version of it (which is quite creepy) for the contest at Dark-Wallies... It looks weirder though
