Quote by DarthTofuQuestions:
1. Do you do any embroidery? Because your art reminds me of doilies and decorative napkins and the sweaters my aunt makes for us.
2. How large do you work, to keep the watercolour so neat?

Amazing detail as usual, fun to look at.

ahahaha..thank you so muchhhhhhh..^^.

1. no, i don't have any embroidery or something like that..^^.
2. the size is A3, the watercolor is neat couse i just use a small amount of water.^^

Quote by DarthTofuAwesome stuff, always look forward to your walls.

Loving the leaves.

I feel the style is a bit too heavy, I feel like the lines should be finer and more delicate given the circumstances. It's still beautiful, though, and the solidness is very Sinever-like.

Maybe I'm just looking for more "mystical" than "happy" though.

Hi DarthTofu :D
thanks alot for the comment :)
Im glad you liked it :)
It seems that I cant change my walling style no matter what what I do ^_^'
I try do to different thing but in the end they do look alike -_-
anyways take care & have a nice day ;)

Quote by moonescapelol! I saw kirby! Reminds me to buy the Super Smash Brawl from Wii. :)

Reminding you! lol, I almost forgot too! xD IT'S FINALLY OUT AND IT'S COMPLETELY INSANE YOU MUST BUY IT!

lol, I recall this was quite a long time ago I gave ya that comment. xD Yeah it did came out and I got to try it out from those eletronic stores that had it. There was quite a line to play for it. xD Too bad it wasn't as much as I expected since I really wanted better. But ya know I'm still a fan of Super Smash so I'll definitely be buying it when I ever get a Wii. ;_; Wish they didn't delay the release of the game by 1 month since it was originally was suppose to come in the beginning week of February. >.<

Quote by DarthTofuPerhaps not everyone likes refinement? XD
You're right, though, there are many fine details that could be added... but y'know when you're too tired to look at stuff anymore, your eyes are burning, and your hand is about to fall off from hours of trying to paint on a laptop... I'm just complaining, though, and whining is no excuse. Nonetheless, I was focusing on atmosphere and lighting much more than detail. (and usually do, but to each their own. :))

Thank you for your comment, much appreciated.

I understand that feeling. It's just that the more time you would pour it in the better it would look, imo. :p

Quote by DarthTofuThe grass looks great. xD
Though the mountains are kinda weird where they meet the water (?) it's really flat. (unless it's just the perspective?) They're also rather uniformly shaped, though it does look a lot better than First Snow, lots of improvement!

The grass is a bit too realistic for the style of the picture, though it looks very beautiful.

Love the calm, cheerful openness, very liberating. Great stuff!

Thanks :D I'm glad to get your opinion ^^
You know I'm never quite sure what to do when I have scenery with water. Where the water meets the mountains, I can make it less flat but then it looks to wavy, as if the water was moving a lot. So I just smudge and paint it a little so that doesn't happen, but then it looks too flat. You're the painting master, do you have any suggestions? ^_^' I can't seem to find the middle ground.
Anyways thanks so much for your comment, I'm glad you think it generally turned out well :D

Quote by DarthTofuI'm not a master. ^_^'
You have a tablet, right? I think... freehand draw a straight line with the size controlled by pressure. Also, where mountains meet water there are small waves, so maybe with a 1 pixel brush make tiny itty bitty waves?

But I'm not sure it's the water really, but the mountains.
Another thing I've noticed is that the shape of the mountains are gently sloping and end up straight in the water, but really only cliffs do that. Mountains usually have some smaller rubble near the edges, trees, something instead of dropping straight to the water.

actually, I just remembered my friend has an awesome painting with a mountain to water thingy, and you can see there's trees and sand before hitting the water. :)

To me you are XD
Yes, I have a tablet, but I'm not that great as using it yet.
Oh, that's true, mountains don't just disappear into water...I should really do my homework before I do scenic walls XD This is great advice though; since I can't seem to stop doing scenic walls, hopefully next time I can do much better :)
Oh, this painting by your friend is a great example! Thanks for showing me that ^^ (And it's too adorable too XD).
Thanks so much for your advice! It was really helpful ^^

Thanks!

lol, outside of Zelda? It does happen. Just rarely. :p

But yeah, Artrage emulates traditional media, and therefore has no opacity or flow controls. (just oil, pencil, marker, stuff like that) It also doesn't have layers. :p But I like the texture it makes so I can deal with the lack of everything I've come to depend on. (It does have 100 undo thingies though, which is awesome!)
Though the idea isn't that special, it's basically just the ending of the game almost exactly.

oh really? ah, yeah :D so rare that i dont remember XD

well actually its more um.... fair when we cant control the flow/opacity functions
have u ever tried to paint on real canvas with oil? :o
lol

Yeah, I have Blame! and Shadow of the Colossus fanart too! (and some rurouni kenshin that aren't very good so I don't submit them. lol)

I never actually used oil paint, but I have painted with acryllics and wattercolor. Not very good with either, admittedly. :p I've always been a digital painter since I started getting into art. (around 12 years old ish)

lol still its not a lot :D

oh well to me its the opposite: painting digitally is way harder for me,
i hate watercolour, but i adore the pencils,
im like a pro at that :D
well oil painting is fun :) i tried it a few times and i had fun, even though its not as fast as pencils/crayons T_T

and sorry for not replyin ur pm, im quite busy >.< but ill do it asap ;)

Quote by DarthTofuAwesome stuff here, Abul! Very pretty, great job on the shading. ^_^
I love the rose petals, they're very soft looking. ^_^
though... I think it's a little weird that only the rose in her hand has outlines, but it's no biggie. ^_^'

hi tofu!
was glad to hear from you :) u seem so inactive lately :(
lol i thought of adding an outline for the petals but that was even worse ^_^'

ah, a rainbow userpage would be nice, but it doesn't seem userpages are working recently?
at least, maybe... at least mine and abul's aren't... haven't checked everyone's yet.

Really? You mean the skinbuilder or the custom content? Your userpage looks fine to me... :\
