i just kept all the objects but changed theyre place in the composition
and its not about that line being blury, it just has to be a bit lighter where it touches the sky
i know this wallpaper is not perfect because im currently using my mothers computer and im not working as hard as i work on my one
but at the same time, im kinda happy with the result, u cant deny haruhi is just adorable in that pic >:D

Well, it may not be evident, but I'm actually a big fan of Gaara xD I don't post much of my fanart online, so I don't think people really know what anime I like. I do however, have a ton of fanart just scattered across my room...I'd like to color them and all but I've been so busy! I'm even working on a Naruto fanart now which is very detailed and it's hard to find time to work on it. I even have an art award ceremony to attend in 2 hours, followed by an exhibition

But anyway, thanks for droppin' by, and no problem about the feature; gotta promote a good character!

Ok! Well! It's basically the same thing as highlights here at MT, except we don't need a proposer; you can just highlight it. Of course, you need the permission of the author first. More info can be found in this thread =)

To make it in a less confusing way, the whole wall lacks depth and details which can actually be put more into it. Lack depth - like shading/highlighting the water, more shades on the stairs, blurry and plain clouds. Plus the girl is too big in proportion compared to the background. They rather connect in a very awkward way.

It's too empty and too lonely to be true for a smiling girl.

well i know this wallpaper is probaly one of my worsts, and i didnt hide it, i knew its bad

no depth = yes
no details = yes, but its good at the same time because i dont like crowded bgs
no highlights in water = yes, oh common, im to lazy to work on water
no shades on the stairs = yes/no, yes because it has some kind of gradient and no because i didnt add the shadow of the girl i actually did try the shadow, but it came out even worse than with the plain stairs
the girl is too big = yes, lol, i just wanted for everybody to see the perfection of the vector and i didnt think much about the proportions

lonely.... maybe, i dont know, maybe she's smiling because she finally left her 4 friends and now she's alone

vector means a picture made of vector shapes
u used the paths method which isnt vectoring and using paths for the outlines is like the easiest thing u can ever do
try shapes and then ull understand what does the hard vectoring mean
plus the paths dont give a depth to the lines
they are thin, but its not always good
lines are made to divide one part of the other one
in ur case, the lines are not even noticeable
and the colours need more contrast/saturation/depth

*nod eagerly* I agree with you in 100%. I hate when ppl use "stroke path" option and complain "whaaa! this vector was soooooo hard!" they are just lazy morons (I even rant on Kyou Kara Maoh! description on DA) some ppl do one vector in 9h. 9h took me outline of Yuuri and chibis!
good outline is the most important part of vector!

Are you referring to yourself? Cause all I know is that the one who started to comment the vector with such incredible "smartest" way is you. Don't act like you are totally right with just one thought, you are not the one who did that vector or the one who taught her. Perhaps it's true for you, the lines are easy in like 5 minutes to do, but do you know how she feel when doing it? Do you know how she think about her own artwork? And you criticised badly as though she didn't do anything. It's her way of vectoring, and also others' too. Don't be selfish and try to act like you're a master or the one who create vector in the first place. You are the one that should be kind to people, don't point something that would make me laugh - because you simply don't know me.
