Ah yes, catching up is the toughest part to deal with. Assignments are piling

Like in my case, I finish my high school in June 2008, I still graduate but I do
not have my diploma 'till October 2008.

Well, I guess what annoys me about the scholarships is that they are so
inconsistent... some seem incredibly easy to get, while the others are just far
too hard. They had a scholarship for "queer students", which I thought
was a bit iffy. What if someone went up and pretended that they were gay just to
get the scholarship? Anyway, the scholarships IMO are all unfair, minus the ones
where you have to get over a certain mark to get them. Then again I didn't
qualify because my university doesn't offer them :P But it's okay
Haha yeah... I hate it when they call them "contributions". I remember
the first and only letter I received from the high school about paying fees was
when one year I decided that contributions were probably "voluntary"
like what the name suggests... they ended up sending me a letter telling me to
pay several hundred dollars =_= It's really stupid... we are Govt subsidised
anyway... but yeah. Most of these "contribution" things are dumb

We all know who the show offs are (there's this one girl who seemingly has
EVERYTHING going for her - a job, architect parents, money, good looks,
intelligence... and she's SO freaking snobby D:) and all the people who seem to
be nasty inside. I guess it's because the grade is kind of small so there's a
lot to talk about. Otherwise, if it was larger, it'd be less, I guess
Well, when I picked this university, I knew I wasn't going to get a scholarship.
Because the one I go to gives scholarships strictly to students who got over
something like 99.80 for their entrance mark. At University of Sydney they give
everyone a scholarship as long as you get over 97. I got 99.05, so it was good
enough for USYD, but not enough where I am going. It's okay though... I'm not
really missing out on much. I'm not doing as well as I probably would have liked
(DN to HD this year is my resolution). The scholarships offered are really
weird, too. It seems like they have all sorts of scholarships like "you get
money if your great grandparent came here before" ... which I totally don't
qualify for
Yeah, I always find minimum donations really weird. Like I mean, when I did
charity events standing there with the bucket, there was this one guy who was
like "sorry I only have 10c but it's all I have" and I personally was
really happy to see him donate SOMETHING. It's a lot better than 0. If just 10
people came with 10c each, that's already a dollar. But yeah, minimum donations
are weird. Then they wouldn't be called donations

I guess it's because the grade is kind of small so there's a lot to talk about. Otherwise, if it was larger, it'd be less, I guess
Well, when I picked this university, I knew I wasn't going to get a scholarship. Because the one I go to gives scholarships strictly to students who got over something like 99.80 for their entrance mark. At University of Sydney they give everyone a scholarship as long as you get over 97. I got 99.05, so it was good enough for USYD, but not enough where I am going. It's okay though... I'm not really missing out on much. I'm not doing as well as I probably would have liked (DN to HD this year is my resolution). The scholarships offered are really weird, too. It seems like they have all sorts of scholarships like "you get money if your great grandparent came here before" ... which I totally don't qualify for
Yeah, I always find minimum donations really weird. Like I mean, when I did charity events standing there with the bucket, there was this one guy who was like "sorry I only have 10c but it's all I have" and I personally was really happy to see him donate SOMETHING. It's a lot better than 0. If just 10 people came with 10c each, that's already a dollar. But yeah, minimum donations are weird. Then they wouldn't be called donations

Haha yeah, generally when you hear "Sydney" you think of a place, but it's actually also an area. The city CBD is the REAL Sydney place.
Like, you can live in say, Liverpool (which is like a 2 hour trip from the city) and still say "I live in Sydney (area)".
Luckily for me, I live about 20 minutes from the city centre. So I can say that I live REALLY in Sydney (place).
Eat huh.. hhmm... well, not much. We didn't have turkey either this year. But then that's a plus for me.
